” Booked this property last minute, got on a flight down there, took a taxi to the property only to find out they canceled the reservation. I never received any notification and it took me contacting them to have them tell me they cancelled it. Here we stand, a family of 5 with no place to stay. Had to take a taxi back to the airport and get booked on the soonest flight back home. I would not recommend staying here, and Expedia was no help either, all they said was “sorry for the inconvenience”. ”

”The hotel area is gorgeous! There's lot's of stuff to do and beautiful paths, cenotes etc. Staff is friendly. Lots of different animals in the area.
Food was a major disappointment. Some of the menus of the restaurants on their website are from before the covid. Best food was probably the breakfast.
Its expensive to go to city center (taxi around 18dollars one way) but still i recommend to go there and eat some authentic Mexican food! Go a few blocks away from the main tourist road and you...

”I recently stayed at Secrets Moxché Playa del Carmen and it was hands down the best resort experience I’ve had in all of Mexico, not even close.

”The hotel Is an all-inclusive hotel, and we didn't want it, so everytime we tried to ask about restaurants in the vicinity they just reminded that we didn't have the right to eat at their restaurant. All other info we got from them was also wrong. They aren't very service oriented. Room was ok, but we had to pay extra for a mini fridge. Beach towels fresh everyday, beach club was nice in the afternoon. Pool big and lots of sun chairs, but loud music everyday and all the time. Balcony nice and...

”We stayed at Casita Maya for our first ever trip to Mexico and we had a fantastic time here! It really felt like staying with fun friends. Very relaxed energy, very beautiful space.
Daniel is the MVP! He was always joking with my husband and was very quick to help with anything we needed throughout our stay, like numerous taxis and answering many questions. He’s also an excellent chef. We loved having our meals out by the pool, in fact we ordered breakfast here every morning.

”Location is just beside to the beach street and maybe it has the heaviest traffic also.
Sea view rooms really do have nice view over the harbour but the traffic destroys sleeping nicely.
The staffwas great and helpfull.
Breakfast, not continental though as was mentioned. Coffee, a glassful of orange juice and some sweet pastries.
Absolutely ould recommed for a traveller who would like to have value for money.”
