I went solo and met a lot of great people, we ended up putting together a group that ate meals together and took a couple of trips together outside of the property. The only real friction point was commuting between the room (some of the rooms are deeper into the property) and the restaurant/sauna area. You can walk the steep road, take a 20 minute trail (which is beautiful), or wait for the shuttle. Not a...

”We loved this property. Beautiful views. Check-in was easy and quick. Property manager was very responsive. Reason for not 5 stars is, no cleaning of room while we were there, 3 nights. Place was beautiful though. Would stay again and price was reasonable.”

”Truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment of arrival to my departure, everything was exceptional. The property is quite large and although it did feel at times overwhelming, once you’ve gotten the hang of the property, it became easy. I certainly recommend staying long than two-nights so that you can take advantage of all the fantastic amenities and offerings. ”Large, clean room. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker and coffee and all the dishes needed to eat in. Several choices for breakfast and they were good. Restaurant on site that was busy for dinner. Friendly staff. Beautiful grounds with lots of birds and a great volcano view. Quick drives to town, coffee and chocolate tours, waterfall, hot springs and grocery stores. Great place for a couple of nights or longer. ”

”The room was spotless. We came during Christmas just to lay in the hot springs. The whole property was lit up and very festive. The welcoming treat and personal touches in our room were the icing on the cake. The breakfast was full of choices. The resort is located close to La Fortuna town and many great excursions. We will definitely return here again. ”

”Nice stay for one night. Room is very basic & small. Very good service at the reception. Enjoyed the pool & jacuzzis, and the small forest trail was a nice extra. Breakfast however was a joke: worst we’ve had in 2 weeks in Costa Rica. Cheapest possible ingredients and even coffee was bitter & bad (first time ever in CR :)”
