”Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. Accommodations are basic but sufficient, if you are looking for an experience more like Dominica than a luxury hotel, Berkey's place is fine. Access to the property is straightforward and...

”Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. ”We were fortunate to enjoy a stay in April 2025 and it was a very relaxing and pleasant vacation. The cottage and the grounds were beautiful. The covered outdoor space with hammock were inspiring- loved swinging reading a book, enjoying the views day and night. There is enough kitchen gadgets to prepare meals and coffee at "home". Quiet days and nights... For us it was a great location north and we traveled all over the island to enjoy the nature island. The host was great- communication with...
