Minimiperilläoloaika kolme yötä. Huoneisto Glencaple tarjoaa erittäin mukavan ja viihtyisän majoituksen pohjakerroksessa kahdelle kylän sydämessä. Se on rakennettu 1800-luvun alkupuolella, ja se on kunnostettu erittäin korkeatasoisiksi. Olohuoneessa on puuhella sekä tehokas sähkölämmitys, joten olet lämmin ja viihtyisä. Kauniit jokinäkymät olohuoneesta ja makuuhuoneesta. Ilmainen WiFi on käytettävissä. Burns and Solway Coast Heritage Trails -kadulla on vain muutaman mailin päässä Wildfowl- ja kosteikkoalueista Caerlaverockissa. Talvella Barnacle-hanhet lentävät ikkunasi ohi aamulla ja illalla, ja joessa voi nähdä muita hanhia, villilintuja ja ankkoja. Saukkoja havaitaan usein lähellä ja kesällä pyöriäisiä ja hylkeitä on nähty joella. Tämä alue on luonnon ystävien paratiisi (BBC: n "Autumn Watch" -lähettäjä täältä vuonna 2015). Excellent apartment
Lovely location and awesome views. Property was very comfortable and cosy. We're allergic to feathers so Sue made sure there were no issues. She took great care to think of our wellbeing. We are an older couple so comfort and ease of getting around the flat are important to us. The flat was well equipped and tastefully decorated. Thanks fir a lovely stay.

Nice for two
Nice wee flat with bonus of having a sunny little garden at the back. Didn't need to use the burner at this time of year but bet it will make the place very cosy and snug in Winter.The bed felt very hard but was surprisingly comfortable!

Great Cottage, Relaxing Location
We arrived at the cottage at the tail end of a 3 week trip in Scotland and I was coming down with an illness. But staying in the quiet and well appointed row house was the antidote I needed: super quiet; great kitchen, bed, and garden. We would absolutely book again. Caeleverlock Castle was fabulous.

Glencaple holiday
We had the most beautiful stay in Sues flat! Location was so perfect, near the pub and the cafe, and walk out the door and there are stunning views all day, but amazing sunrises. Also only a short drive into Dumfries for any shopping. The flat was very spacious for the two of us and it had everything we needed! Thanks for having us Sue, will definitely recommend this place and be back again!

This is a lovely little cottage in a beautiful location. Everything is there that you need and it all works. How many cottages have we stayed in with no matches! Not that we needed them in this case, but it was good to see that there were 2 boxes there just in case.

Great choice of property!
We were looking for a place to stay to enable us to visit the South West Coast in Dumfries & Galloway and also visit friends in Langholm. The Flat was perfect. Great location, all the necessary facilities, cosy and comfy, we slept well and relaxed during our stay. Lots of storage, kitchen equipment and comfy sitting room and heating. We really enjoyed our stay!

Comfort and peace!
We spent a thoroughly enjoyable four nights at the flat and wished it could have been longer. We particularly loved the views across the estuary and being able to sit in the lovely garden each morning to eat our breakfast. (Yes, it was sunny!) The flat was clean and comfortable, it contained everything we could need for an easy stay - all the usual things but also extras such as matches, pens and notepad, pegs for the washing line, books, simple medical kit, spare toiletries... Out and about we walked along the coast to Caerlaverock Castle, then caught the bus back, had coffee at the Boathouse, explored the vintage treasure trove (shop) across the road and also went into Dumfries, then down the opposite bank of the Nith to Sweetheart Abbey. All in all a relaxing and welcome break - it is easy to see why there are so many repeat bookings in the visitors book. Thank you!

Lovely Stay
We loved our short stay at this lovely cottage. The area is really nice with a friendly hotel two minutes away to have a glass of wine while the sun goes down. Had some really nice walks too. Hopefully be back for a visit in the future.
