”Good communication prior to arrival as we were arriving outside normal check-in hours. Clean and comfortable facilities gave us a great night's sleep. Very good breakfast served by a host who was genuinely friendly and welcoming. Only there for one night as on our way elsewhere but definitely a place to use if staying in Penrith.”

”The host was nice and the breakfast very good, but felt the property needed updating also more than one loo roll needed, especially when poor quality no glasses for water snd faulty bedside light.”

”We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together”
