Great walks from the door with neighbouring Kirkby Stephen easily accessed by foot path or car for shopping. Ample parking space that is easy to access. Quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay”

”Free wine, flowers and chocolates - WOW ! Compact, clean, brill TV/WIFI. Back yard is well overlooked (BBQ ?). One expensive shop, NO pub. Close to Pennines, for walkers. Good central heating, never used the log burner. Disappointing area for a "cottage" ? ”

The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together”
