”Beautiful ”

”Smooth arrival and check in. The room was cleaned “okay” upon our arrival to the room, although few garbage pieces were still present from previous occupants. Not a big deal but still 😐 The room cleaning is inconsistent, one day cleaned, next no, same with nightly turn down service, it was done not on every night. Concierge service in What’s app is not good and the only thing that made us unhappy. We were let down on dinner reservations many times with empty promises and no follow ups....

The spa was wonderful for both treatments and some time in the hot/cold plunges, steam and sauna. There was no room upgrade. There was no hundred dollar. Credit toward the spa. ”El Dorado Maroma is one of if not the best all inclusive resorts I have been ever been to. The food was exceptional; the grounds and facilities were impeccable and all the staff was fantastic. My husband and I were also impressed by the quality of the musicians and entertainers that performed at the resort. The mexican party on the beach was really special and the mariachi band was outstanding. The included catamaran tour with snokeling on the nearby reef where we got to see an impressive amount...

”Absolutely wonderful place! Beautiful, relaxing, and everything smells so good! My only complaint is the pool is unheated! My 2.5 year old had purple lips within 10 minutes of playing in it in 80° weather. The pool largely remains empty, as it’s just too uncomfortable.”

”They consider themselves as luxury but they are really not. There were mice droppings ALL OVER the outside of the room in the hallways. Mice droppings in the staircase corners. They have an infestation!!! Also everything is made pretty cheap (furniture, decor, etc). The staff was overwhelmed with the occupancy the week we were there. Would not come back. Hector at the pool and beach was great!! And the lady that did the margarita class was awesome!”

”We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride...

”Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at in this hemisphere.* We stayed in a penthouse suite in the Fairmont's Heritage Place area. The place was immaculate, quiet, spacious, with a great modern kitchen. An in suite bathroom for each of three rooms, and an extra powder room. There are beautiful pools *everywhere*, never crowded. The beach is maybe a 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride away. The bikes are well maintained, but single speed, so I had to adjust the seat height to get enough...

”The staff at check in and out could use some hospitality training - this is our 4th stay and this has never improved although overall service at the resort has significantly improved aside from this. The amenities and location are wonderful and it is a beautiful resort. The waiters at the beach were excellent as always and should be given a shout out including Victor, Juan and Edwin”

”El Dorado Casitas Royale is one of my favorite places to be. The staff is always so accommodating and friendly. They are prompt in giving assistance when needed. We were able to book our dinner reservations with no issues. The room was clean the mini bar was always stocked. I can't wait to go back. ”
