”Our stay at SOTA was nothing short of amazing. The drive to the retreat was not too out of reach, and made sense, as we were in the jungle of Puerto Morelos. We arrived a little later than expected, but greeted upon arrival at the gate by the staff. We were helped with our luggage to our stay, and we were stunned at every step! In our unit, there were fresh fruits waiting for us on the table. Our room was surrounded by glass looking out into the jungle, and every room had access to opening...

”We really enjoyed our stay here! The rooms were nicely decorated and spacey - the ones with balcony are especially pretty and comfortable (our group had both terrace and balcony rooms). The staff is very friendly and helpful with any of our questions and needs. The location is fantastic right by the ocean and just a few blocks from the main square so it's super easy to walk everywhere, including to the big supermarket Chedraui that is basically next door. ”The location of the hotel is excellent. Really on the beach. However, it has seen it's best days already, but the location makes it excellent value for the money. Rooms are simple, and the ones with balcony are ok. ”

”It is a new construction, the room was amazing, really clean, with ocean view, the pool really nice. The only thing that it was a big minus is that the Wi-Fi wasn't working in our room, we notified the front desk clerk and went to our room to try to fix it but couldn't be fixed and in that area my phone didn't have good reception there, other than that it was great. ”

”The apartment was very clean upon arrival, checkin was easy, (keys in a lock box). Lots to see and do everything within walking distance. The beach 5 min walk and a large grocery also 5 min away. If you have mobilty issues this place has 34 steps to walk up to get in. There was no housekeeping and no broom to sweep up all the fallen palapa grass from the roof of the apt which seems to fall daily.”
