”Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. ”

”Room and bathroom were spacious, but quite plain, kind of like a hostel. I’ve stayed in approximately 30 hotels in different parts of Mexico. This one by far had the roughest towels. Not certain what cleaning or drying process they use for their towels, but…it leaves the towels feeling very rough. Beds are somewhat firm, but pillows are very comfortable. Air conditioning works great. My room had a small refrigerator, which is a rare feature and was much appreciated. Wifi in the room is strong....

”Great staff. The room was great. Ask to get a beachfront room on the 3rd floor. The trees on the property cut down on the ocean view for the 1st and 2nd floors. The hot tubs were not on. There is an area for a bar, but it is not staffed or stocked. Know before you go that this is in a residential area and there are no restaurants or markets within walking distance. Each cab ride to town was $50US. If you are looking for a remote getaway, this is a great option.”

”We had a great ocean view. Cute little apartment, 1 bed 1 bath. Nice staff. Only thing I can say was bad was the shower head, needed a new one, and a little stingy on the linens. It also had a little spiral staircase off your balcony to go to beach. Very convenient. ”

”The property itself was lovely, our room was extremely dated, curtains hanging off the rail, bathroom faucet completely loose, literally could lift it out of the socket. No place to hang clothes, everything was about 70 years old, paint stained curtains and doors. ”

”Excellent resort, very clean - bleaching the pool deck daily, amazing food and no reservations required for à la carte which removes the stress of lining up to book dinner. Highly recommend for families! Sargassum was loaded on the beach and they try their best to remove it daily. ”

”We adored Puerto Morellos. Fabulous beach and lots of great beach restaurants. Quiet town with lots of restaurants and live music. The property was cute and the staff very responsive and nice. Our only complaint was the sewer system which was emitting odour in our suite by the end of our stay. ”

Vieraiden käytössä on viereisen Beach Club Ojo de Aguan allasalue, jossa on pienehkön altaan lisäksi piknik-pöytä sekä YKSI aurinkotuoli, eikä mitään palveluita. Molempien hotellien rannat ja niiden aurinkotuolit ovat vieraiden käytössä, mutta ainakin Beach Clubin puolella se oli melko sekavaa: vaikka menit vapaaseen tuoliin, saattoi henkilökunta tulla sanomaan sen olevan jo...
