”We loved staying at this hotel. It’s a 25 minute drive from Cortina city but the location is very lovely and quaint. The staff (servers especially) are wonderful and my husband said the pizza was the best he had in Italy (we ate pizza every day for 2 weeks). They offer gelato and there’s a cold spring water fountain across the road from the hotel, but if you’re anticipating wanting other snacks, best to pick up when you’re in a bigger town / before you head back to hotel.”

”B&B Dolomites Hut is a fantastic stay! Getting to the building by bus is very easy from the train station. The host and his wife are so nice and hospitable. Breakfast every morning to your liking and they are happy to provide any and all recommendations for activities in the area. The rooms are nice and the views from the balcony are amazing. I would recommend anyone of any age to stay here!”

The introductory tour was very helpful (I appreciated the history) and the facilities (pools, garden, games room) made for a relaxing vacation. It's closeness to Seiser Alm, but reasonable distance from city centre made it a great home base for multiple hikes or just relaxing. Local bus pass was even included! There was no a la carte menu (one could always walk to town to several restaurants),...
