”I did request a set of clean towels which I never got ??? My view from my room 129 of the air conditioning vents is not what I really expected. other than that all was good.”

”If you’re disabled or just an older guest beware the rooms have not been reviewed by an appropriate person. I found the bathroom a death trap. No grab rails in the shower but the worst was the slippery floor in the toilet with nothing to grab onto when struggling to arise from the toilet. My husband had to help me but not before on making an attempt my feet slipped and I finished up with a nasty fall and a now painful back. At 2am I had to ring reception I was frozen- the radiator didn’t work...

”Good parking for the area. Reception, restaurant and bar have had a referb but rooms are in need of complete referb. On arrival our bathroom had not been cleaned and in a bit of a state, ( not very happy 🤔) however we went to reception to complain, Stuart the receptionist was first class very polite and apologetic and found us another room. Good breakfast. Again I point out that the rooms are in need of a good overhaul.”

”Staff excellent. Setting beautiful. We stayed in the old house which had real charm, but was a little tired. Beyond the historic house is a conference centre, with spa. We ate an evening meal in the 1744 restaurant which was well priced and very tasty. ”

”We just had a standard double room, I was suprised how nice it was for the price. The hotel itself is lovely, such a beautiful place. There are a few animals outside to feed, an outdoor bar area. The bar inside is great and reasonably priced. The food is AMAXING ”

”Good overall, food was great, really nice breakfast and tea time meal, bedroom was nice, bathroom was small but done the trick, shame no biscuits in the room with the tea bags. The spa was quite disappointing, needs decorating, too many people in there and loads of kids, not relaxing at all! The jacuzzi was only a little warm, the sauna and steam rooms were both cold, disappointed with the spa! ”
