”I knew we were in trouble when I saw the carpet in the hallway. In the room the floor was sticky. Every step in the room we could hear our shoes peeling off of the floor. The shower was dirty. I had to wear crocs in there. The baseboards were filthy. There were streaks of varying colors on the walls. It had a heavy, sour/sweet weird smoky smell. ”They had a double queen bed listed and after I booked and drove there they told me they don’t have those rooms available AND I’m still being charged trying to find my refund.”

”They canceled our room before we could ever check in. No notification no nothing. We were three hours from home and everywhere around there was booked. A refund is supposed to be in process. The guy at the front desk was a smart ass and condescending about the whole thing.”

”This place was pretty gross. I tend to use cheap motels so I’m not too adverse to a little grunge. The first room I went in smelled so awful. Like body odor, maybe mold? I usually just tough it out and get some sleep but this was BAD. The second room smelled better but was very gross. Bed sheets were sweat stained, sheets were more gray than white. I’m almost certain they didn’t even change the sheets, there was obvious impressions on the sheets of one side of the bed. I didn’t want to keep...

”Don’t plan to use the pool! It’s “under construction”. Don’t plan to sit on the lobby to play games or just hang out unless you like to sit in 82 degree temps when it’s 85 outside. The thermostat was set at that! Staff would constantly ask what room you was in. Will not be staying again.”

”I was very disappointed in my stay at Sonesta. The night my daughter and I made it to the hotel, after traveling into town, the person at the front desk was not pleasant as I checked into the room. Once we made it to the hotel, our bed seemed clean and inviting and the air conditioner worked well. Those are about the only complements I can provide. The facilities in the room were not clean.
