”Not only was our room incredible, but the entire staff, the on-site restaurant, and the charming little gift shop were all wonderful. We stayed in the "HOKULANI" room. ”Mika and Tammy were super nice!! The kitchen and smaller pantries were well stocked and thoughtfully laid out. We were so comfortable in our rooms, and loved that there are so many different bathrooms to choose from. You get to have more interactions with the other guests versus staying in a hotel. We’ve made so many friends here. This was such a down-to-earth experience, we’d definitely choose to stay here over a resort anytime!”

Clean in general, but would ask the host (we never met in person) to pay attention to the counter and windowsills in the kitchen when they come by to run the dishwasher in the morning, as they should be cleaned (these are outside the area guests are asked to clean after using the kitchen).”

"An older property that seems to have aged gracefully. We asked for a quiet room and were given one at the end of the hallway, and I think this was a lifesaver. There’s no noise cancellation of any kind and had we been closer to the elevators, it would have been impossible for js (admittedly rough sleepers) to sleep. But as it was, we slept great, listening to the sounds of the waves. The beach is great (much much better than some more expensive resorts), and having sunbeds on the grassy yard was cozy. "
