”Hotel shuttle had to be called for three times, which resulted a delay of 2,5 hours. Also on retur to airport, the hotel insisted of departure from hotel three and half hours before departure, to avoid two different trips with guests on different flights. which left a generous four hours accommodation time.”

”Swimming pool was public pool near apartment and must pay for using it. Pool is full of local kids and there is no sunbeds. Showers in room didn´t work and toilet was broken also and all lights were broken in toilet. Floors were dirty in apartment.”

”The place is 3.9 km from the Amboseli gate, so about 5 minutes drive. People working there are overly nice, but apparently the owners are Chinese, which might not be very good for the local economy and work conditions. They have open buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's not spectacular but pretty decent, except the desserts were consistently bad. The room is also very beautiful, but there was no hot water for the shower, which has led to a pretty bad experience after a long game drive in the...

The location is great for tourists, but lousy if you're in Nyeri for business as it's a ways out of town. The little villas are quaint, but it would still be nice to have a tv and internet. Meals are good, but repetitive if you're there for more than a couple nights.”

”Not even a middle class hotel, low 1star experience. No air con, dirty rooms and over charge for driver to pick up at the airport and to drive you to dinner. Dinner at an expensive resort was less than what the driver charged total of 35 USD plus additional SHK 2000 for trip of one hour, to a restaurant that he chose, which was situated only 15 min from the very bad hotel. Not nice breakast not on time! I had to cook part of it myself, dirty & smelly restaurant & kitchen a disgrace!”

”This is a very cosy place to stay. Despite being a hotel, you get the feeling of being at home with very intentional and friendly customer service. The staff were extremely warm and proactive in offering help. And the food options from Zeke’s Cafe, right on the property, were excellent! Can’t rave too much about this place that provides excellent customer service, all for a greater good!”
