”The room was large but stark. It lacked furniture and a place to put luggage - no luggage racks and no dresser. Ironing board was a table top version but no place other than the floor to put it. The king bed was mushy and caved to the center. Bathroom was old and small and needed a deep cleaning. A/C worked well and the staff was pleasant.”

”Location is great, and price is exceptional for Long Island in general. The place is quirky, but getting better. Not the Ritz. Office runs almost a bodega loke market of basic supplies, food, drinks and snacks. Great budget way to visit Bayville.”

”Staff was kind and helpful on all shifts. Only entrance was in the parking lot and consisted of extremely steep steps, almost impossible for elders and persons with arthritis. Bed was too high and difficult to lay on due to metal coils poking your body. No drawers and no hanging closets for women’s dresses. No information on restaurants, parks, or events, or even instructions for the tv. Overall, not satisfactory but expensive.”

”Lovely views, friendly owners, great extras that made our stay boutique, such as plush towels, double sink, complimentary parking, snacks, coffee and bath toiletries. We couldn’t have been more comfortable! Thank you Steve and Cindy! ”

”Hotel was convenient to the airport (5 min drive) - daytime staff were very helpful, nighttime staff less so, but this hotel fit the bill. Only problem was a maintenance issue with the toilet in the room, ran all night - and there was no alternative provided -- but I'm sure that was a one-off.”

”The guest rooms are clean and roomy. Very comfortable. The valet parking was easy and very organized. The hotel itself is welcoming.”

”The room was disgustingly filthy. Floors were sticky, the room smelled like pee. Shower was luke warm even after 5 minutes into the shower. Breakfast was the worst continental breakfast- no drinking water, juice, etc. Do yourself the favor and spend an additional $50 to stay at a better property.”
