”Loved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh.”

”We had a great stay at this apartment. It was clean, looks to have been recently renovated. It had two bedrooms with queen size beds and a nice living/kitchen area. No staff on site but management was responsive when reached via the Hotels.com message site. Was super close to Edinburgh Castle, although at the bottom of the hill, and there were nice cafes and a grocery store nearby. Plenty of room for our family of four with two adult children. They even had a convenient locker to store luggage...

We spend one night in William Wallace room and it was really cool! Book it if you can. It is worth of every penny. The second night we were at regular room at ground level. It was clean and nice room.
Lots of parking space.
The Dungeon restaurant was very nice experience, food was very good.
Breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of choises.
The castle grounds offers interesting hikes and beautiful scenery.
It was A little far from Edinburgh, but it was easy to go with A taxi.
