”Jonny was very nice and accommodating. Outside was a bit dodgy because there was no name of the hotel (an old pub)but once you enter your room, it was clean and pretty. Surprisingly good. We will be back. Im sure they will upgrade/renovate the groud floor.”

”This place was perfect for what we needed. Really good value for the price you pay. They kindly allowed us to check in early as we were attending an event at the Prospect Building that ran across their official check in hours. Bed was comfy and sheets were clean. Some noise from the pub and busy high street, but this was obviously expected and did not bother us at all. Would definitely stay again.”

”Liked friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds and pillows. Not happy with bathroom bin had not been emptied and floor was dirty. Food was quite pricey. Swimming lessons were happening in the pool - more a gym than spa experience.”

”This place has been transformed from a house into a 10 room guest house but with virtually no health and safety measures in place or faulty/unusable ones. The rooms, themselves, are ok but small but, again, no PAT Testing done, no fire exits highlighted etc. The showers are filthy and poorly maintained (more water comes out of the hose than reaches the head). All in all avoid at all costs. Fire doors are wedged open and the only fire blanket is very high up.”

”Approximately 10 minutes drive to centre of Bristol and with good parking (£3.50 for 24 hours if staying). Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms are very clean and rooms are very large but the hotel could do with some tlc and looking very tired. Ideal however for a short stay”

”Room spotless, bottle of cold water and fresh milk in fridge a bonus. Staff all friendly and helpful even carried out bags up the steep stairs. Although over a pub no problem with noise. Able to park car in their car park and leave it for the whole of our stay. Did not have breakfast as visiting family very close by so went there each morning. Very convenient for bus into town”
