Kiinteistö sijaitsee vain minuutin päässä Latimer Road -metroasemalta, 10 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Portobello Roadilta ja 15 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Westfield-ostoskeskuksesta. Zuerst das Gute vorweg: die Wohnung ist geräumig wie beschrieben und der Gastgeber war immer erreichbar und hat unsere Fragen zügig beantwortet.Leider entsprach die Unterkunft weder den Bildern noch unseren Erwartungen. Das Wohnzimmer war ganztags dunkel, weil die Bäume im Garten kein Licht mehr durchließen. Die Wohnung war nur oberflächlich sauber aber die Fenster, die Küchenschränke und die Terrasse waren dreckig. Der Eingangsbereich vom Haus war vermüllt, dort liefen Ratten herum. Unsere Schlafzimmertür ließ sich nicht schließen. Der Teppich an der Treppe hing teilweise lose runter. Und wenn das alles nicht schlimm genug war, hat jemand mitten in der Nacht eine Kugel durch das Fenster neben der Haustür gejagt. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt fühlten wir uns allerdings sicher, weil die Polizei die Gegend wegen versuchten Mordes beobachtet hat.

Appartement vaste bien situé par rapport à la station de métro Latimer Road.Le confort des lits superposés à l'étage est médiocre, même pour des enfants.Sinon, commodités acceptables : lave linge, lave vaisselle.Un super marché COOP à la sortie du métro bien pratique.

The property was wonderful and so close to the train station. It had everything we needed and David was very helpful if anything went wrong. The location was lovely and via the metro got us everywhere we needed in a reasonable amount of time. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. There was a great amount of space compared to other places in London that are often cramped or much more .

Pleasant three-week stay in London

We stayed in David's lovely Notting Dale flat for three weeks in June. The location is superb: right next to the Tube (Circle and Hammersmith and City lines), and a peaceful, shady ten-minute walk to Portobello Road. We were able to get everywhere we needed to go with ease. The neighborhood itself, however, was not at all touristy, and we really enjoyed that. Lots of families and kind people to meet in the green space in front of the building. There are two local co-op grocery stores nearby, plus more grocery options an easy bus or tube ride away (we liked the Tesco superstore in Hammersmith, accessible by the 295 bus).The flat itself is spacious, though not luxurious. Two bedrooms are fairly small, with bunk beds in each. Two rooms are bigger, with queen-sized beds. All rooms have nice windows looking out on the square and are fairly comfortable. The rooms get hot in the morning sun. Like most London apartments, there is no air-conditioning in this flat.David is a highly responsive host. When the washing machine broke in the first week of our stay, he quickly took action and got it sorted out. We also had a slow drain, which he also helpfully took care of.

We left this rental after one night — not because we wanted to, but because we had to. The flat was completely uninhabitable and misrepresented in the listing. We had to find emergency accommodation due to unbearable conditions.The most serious issue was the incredible foul stench from the upstairs bathroom - a raw sewage-like smell that made us all physically ill. Even opening the door a crack was enough to gag. It rendered the bathroom completely unusable.There were rats, both alive and dead, just outside the entrance and around the garbage bins, making the property feel unsafe and unhygienic.Inside, a long list of issues added to the experience:* Unclean sheets with visible hairs* Thick dust on vents and baseboards* A constant beeping door alarm that wouldn’t stop* A broken clothes rack with plastic shards nearby on the floor* A dirty spoon on the floor from prior guest * Broken shower head * Uncomfortable mattresses, you can feel each individual springWe were traveling with young children and felt the environment was completely inappropriate for both health and safety reasons. We contacted the host to explain we had to leave early, but he has denied the smell entirely and downplayed concerns about cleanliness. This flat falls far below any reasonable living standards.

Great location

This apartment was located very near the tube, which was very convenient. It was close to restaurants. The owner was very responsive, and it was easy to check-in. The apartment was a bit dated in terms of amenities. We were able to find fans, but it would be warm inside during hot months since there is no air conditioning. Overall, a great stay on a budget!

Would not recommend

Flat is in north Kensington not Nottinghill as advertised. To start with positive was relative spacious and close to tube station. Now the negatives, which unfortunately were so many. Certainly was not what was advertised. Listing shows renovated, only room partially renovated is upstairs bathroom. The rest of the accomodation is dated, musty and dusty. Washing machine doesn’t work and left us with wet clothes on the day we departed. Carpet old, pulling away in sections, doors missing handles etcAppears to be social/community housing block of flats. Pile of Mail from revenue and customs and housing department. Limited restaurants nearby. Would not stay again or recommend.

Location, location, location

The location was very convenient to the London tube. Two of the beds were uncomfortable to the point of not being able to be slept on. Other rooms, except the kitchen, were worn. Carpet on the stairs was worn and in one spot loose. While the convenience of the apartment was excellent the neighborhood was loud and raucous.

Avoid if you can

We were extremely disappointed. The listing does not convey how decrepit the building and place are. It smells, the bedroom doors cannot close, dishes and cutlery were dirty, the bedsheets of one bed, though clean, were stained, and the neighbours are noisy to 3am (the listing warns to be quiet yourself). This said, the check in process worked as described, we had three sets of keys, and it is very close to the Latimer station.

Convenient location

While at the co-op at 8:30am grabbing a few breakfast items, my husband saw someone trying to steal. He witnessed the store keeper and the thief brawl while the storekeeper was trying to retrieve the items. The people surrounding the home were loud but it was hot so we opened the windows. Convenient location but not our favorite spot.

Pleasant Stay

We enjoyed our week-long stay at this flat. The property was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The living and dining room were large enough for all of us to congregate. The underground is a very short walk and there are 2 markets close by for incidentals. One stop on the underground and you are at the area mall.

Great location

We had a great stay! David was very responsive and provided very clear instructions for everything. The location was great, very convenient to the tube and a quick walk to Portobello Road. The apartment had everything we needed and was way more than enough space for our group (4 adults). Highly recommend!

London Break

A group of 7 of us stayed (girlie family break) for 3 nights. The owner was helpful with the booking from start to finish and answered any questions we had quickly. The flat is ideally located as it's a 2 minute walk to the tube station that takes you in and around London. The flat was clean and roomy for us all. We would highly recommend and would use again. Thanks again.

Wohnung nähe der U-Bahn mit Mängeln

Die Fensterfront bzw. Balkontüre im Ess-/Wohnzimmer ist nicht dicht. Im Winter äußerst störend zumal die Heizung auch nicht ständig läuft -> Erkältungsgefahr. Fenstergriff in einem Zimmer kaputt -> Verletzungsgefahr. Generell alles staubig. Nur ein kleines Badezimmer für so viele Personen. Abdeckung der Fluchtwegsbeleuchtung fiel mitten in der Nacht herunter. Matratzen zum Teil durchgelegen. Betten nicht Kingsize. Geschirrspüler funktioniert nicht ordnungsgemäß. Kasten in einem Schlafraum fehlt. Es riecht modrig.

Goed en ruim appartement dicht bij de metro

Fijn en ruim appartement met een tuintje, zelfs eekhoorntjes in de tuin. Het appartement is zeer dicht bij het Latimer metrostation wat erg fijn is. Ook heel dicht bij een kleine COOP supermarkt, die ‘ s morgens lekkere verse broodjes heeft. Dus een prima plek om vanuit daar Londen te verkennen. Check-in was makkelijk, via sleutelbox met code. Communicatie met de verhuurder was goed. Enige minpuntje was misschien dat de matrassen wat verouderd zijn, zeker in het stapelbed. Al met al een fijne plek om te verblijven en zeker aan te bevelen.
