This was a very disappointing and stressful experience, made worse by the fact that this stay was booked for my birthday weekend, which was completely ruined as a result.
Upon arrival, we were left stranded for a long time with no reception staff available to assist us. The building was extremely difficult to find, as it was surrounded by scaffolding with no clear signage. We were left standing outside in the cold trying to work out where to go.
Despite having no access to the property and no on-site help, we were instructed to complete pre-checks. When we called the contact numbers provided for assistance, the service staff were unhelpful and came across as rude, offering no clear guidance or solution.
After a significant delay, we were informed that we could not stay due to an age restriction requiring guests to be over 25 years old. This was unacceptable, as full payment had already been taken and my ID had been provided for verification a week in advance. At no point were we contacted to inform us that we would not be eligible to stay.
This situation could have been avoided entirely with proper communication. Instead, we were left without accommodation, support, or clear information despite having complied with all requirements. Overall, the experience was extremely unprofessional, and I would not recommend this property.
