We had a variety of different issues at the Knight of Notting Hill, unfortunately and would really appreciate some kind of compensation for the volume of issues.
- There was no hot water for the shower. It was cold.
- Heater not working until staff shows us but space heater is missing a leg, which is a safety issue
- No blankets brought to the room when requested
- Not a king bed despite advertised that way
- Unresponsive staff, had to go down multiple times
- Fob to hotel entrance not working, had to enter through pub (pub entrance also closed at 12AM so had to come back before to not get locked out).
- Stain on sheet, even after sheets were changed/washed.
- No room service
- No utensils - not even stir sticks for the coffee machine
- Water from shower spread throughout floor, which was dangerous with the space heater.
- Towels not replaced and did not dry overnight
- Only offered separate accommodations/dinner/drinks at 10PM before check out. We were traveling the next day so couldn’t transport drinks and no mention of a refund.
- Hotel staff came into shower with shoes on and left dirt in shower
- Main light 2/3 bulbs were out
Generally, we can make due - but due to colder weather conditions, having a non working shower and these other issues did not suit our needs of this stay.
