Pool home near beach, and port. Perfect Getaway

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located pool home. We are a 9 minute drive to Port Canaveral, 9 minutes to the beach, 55 minutes to Disney/Universal, and 20 minutes to Kennedy. This home is spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A nice patio to relax or just have a day lounging by the pool. A large fenced in backyard for the kids or dogs to play. This is the place for a Florida vacay! Watch a rocket launch and put your toes in the sand!

Family Trip
House is in a good location, close to the port and beaches. Not bad if you plan to spend most of your time away. The A/C unit does not adequately cool the house, so it's warm during the day, but eventually cools by late evening. The living and dining rooms need window coverings. There are none on the windows and sliding door in the dining room. There are only two curtain panels in the living room (one has mold on it) and the panels are too small for the window. So don't expect privacy at night while watching TV. The plumbing in the bathrooms need to be addressed as the tub and shower drain poorly and the master toilet gets plugged (owner must be aware as there's a plunger next to the toilet). The dishwasher needs to be fastened to the cabinet as it falls forward when you pull the rack out. If you have a young child in your party be aware there are NO pool safety measures leading out to the backyard and no pool barrier. Also the pool deck is very hot, so wear water shoes. The sliding glass door is broken which should be mentioned in the details - not just a sticker on the door. On our last night we decided to BBQ, however the grill was not clean. A prior quest had left a sheet of foil with what appeared to be sliced lemons and fish which was stuck on the rack. Housekeeping should check the grill after each stay. The property could also use some grass and landscaping. A nice hedge along the fence would help reduce the road noise and give more privacy.

Great clean space
This house was very comfortable for our trip with 3 women and a 1 year old. The fenced in back yard pool area was fabulous, even stocked with kids outdoor toys. The property description could be updated because there are more amenities than listed!! Would stay again no doubt! 6 min to Walmart 12 min to cocoa beach and definitely eat at long doggers!

Just what we needed
The house had all of the amenities we wanted and was decorated very nicely. We used the pool everyday and even had my parents over for a bbq. The covered patio was perfect when it rained. The beds were comfortable, and so was the couch as my boys (15 & 24) didn’t want to share a bed. The house is on a busy corner and you hear traffic when you are out poolside but it was always quiet inside while we slept. Convenient to Cocoa Beach, Space Center, and an easy location for us to get to family in Melbourne. We had a couple of issues and the hosts were immediately responsive. Great house for the price.

Great island stay
This place is great, very nice, clean and the area is fantastic. The owners were very comforting and generous. If you are gonna stay on Merritt Island then this spot is definitely the place for a quiet, relaxing and a comfortable stay

Family Friendly Escape
This property was just the right size for our family of four. My 10 yr old boys loved the foosball table. We loved the coffee bar and the new kitchen. Really everything has been nicely updated in this 3 bedroom-the paint colors, flooring choices are all timeless. Really wanted to enjoy the beautiful pool but it was February ya’ll so maybe next time! One slight drawback we experienced was the water pressure. It was adequate just not our norm. There didn’t appear to be cable channels but we were out a lot and streamed the olympics when we did want to watch something. We don’t watch TV much on vacation and I was glad it didn’t become a distraction. Host was very responsive at check in and even let us know promptly that we’d forgotten a bag of our clothes in time for us to circle back and get it. So nice!!!
