Wouldn’t recommend
The location was ok and also the hotel itself. Just the room was bad. We asked for room upgrade when checking in as it was my birthday. We got one, but we’re very disappointed with the room. The door didn’t close entirely which meant that every single voice and noise came to our room from the hallway. Also the bathroom door didn’t close entirely. The room was very humid even though there was very very noisy air conditioner on all the time. They didn’t clean our room before asking for it and it was then already evening.

Hyvä sijainti jos viihtyy keskikaupungin sykkeessä. Siistit ja hiljaiset huoneet. Palvelu heikkoa ja aamiainen ei toimi ollenkaan (pitkät jonot ja huono palvelu). Jos varaat aamiaisen, muista varata pöytä joka aamulle.

OK perushotelli hyvällä paikalla, kehitettävääkin
Hyvällä paikalla oleva hotelli, siistit huoneet, vaikka ensiksi annettu huone jouduttiin vaihtamaan hyvin vahvan tupakanhajun takia, koko hotellissa tupakointi oli kielletty. 3.krs jonkinverran kadun ääniä öisin. Sisältyvä aamiainen hyvä, palvelu sekavaa ja aamiaisen sisältö tuntui olevan yleinen ihmettelyn aihe eli lisämaksuja kertyi helposti

Suhteellisen hyvä sijainti New Yorkin Manhattanilla, helposti pääsi paikasta toiseen nopeasti. Palvelu oli hyvää. Huone oli siisti. Siivouspalvelua ei parina ensimmäisenä päivänä käynyt, syy tuntematon. Sitten käytiin päivittäin loppuviikko. Eristys huoneissa todella huono. Kaduilta kuuluu New Yorkiin kuuluvat hälyajoneuvot sisälle, hotellin sisäpuolelta käytävällä kävelyt ja puhumiset, sekä vähän kovemmat puhumiset toisista huoneista. Vesiputkiston käyttö kuului kyllä _todella_ ärsyttävästi huoneessa. Aamupala tuntuu suurelta huijaukselta. Aamupala maksaa varauksen yhteydessä x määrä (en muista mitä). Hotelliin saavuttaessa ja kirjautuessa sisään, asiakkaalle annetaan kuponkeja, joilla kerrotaan olevan 20$ arvo per kuponki käytettäväksi aamupalalla. Aamupalalla on pääruoka, sivulautanen ja juoma vaihtoehdot joista valita ja jokaisella oma hintansa, yli 20$ menevät laskutetaan. Tämä tuntui kuitenkin muuttuvan päivästä toiseen, miten homma toimii. Todella epämääräinen ja epäilyttävä systeemi. KUKAAN aamupalalla ei ymmärtänyt tätä. Kuponkiin siis kuului ilmeisesti pääruoka ja sivuruoka, sekä juoma, mutta nimellisesti laskutettiin kuitenkin aina jotain. Loppulaskussa kuitenkin oli meitä laskutettu jotain aamupaloista lisäksi, vaikka kuponkien olisi pitänyt kaikki korvata. Tipit tietysti lisättiin ja ne loppulaskuun kuuluukin, mutta jotain outoa tässä tapahtuu. Ruoka oli toki hyvää suurimpana osista aamuja. Aamupaloille oli myös suuret jonot, ajankohdasta riippumatta.

It was a beautiful property with great staff however, my one complaint would be the condition of the bathroom in the suite with a terrace. It has stains all over the floor that made it look dirty, and the top of the bath spout was popping out. It is also a noisy area but not far from Empire State and Times Square!

A great option for staying in Midtown. As is usual for New York, the room wasn't huge but adequate for what we needed. Bathroom and shower were great, staff and operation were very efficient. It's very convenient for getting to most of the areas you would want to get to. Didn't get to use on site facilities so can't comment on restaurant etc but would definitely return

The employees were very kind and respectful. From the restaurant servers to the front desk attendants. We did have an issue with a leaking/broken sink, but the staff did try to get it fixed before we left. It was simply an issue that will need to be fixed to ensure that that room doesn’t get eventual water damage. Altogether, great stay and will book again!

We stayed at the arlo in march this year. The hotel is in a great location for tourists and is a great hub for exploring the city. Our room was a bit small but it was kept clean and did whatbit needed. The staff was kind and helpful and offerd their recomendations for some bar and food options as well. Their breakfast was pretty good and we started pur days at their coffee shop in the lobby which was great. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting NYC

Pros - Great location close to everything - Citybikes are around the corner which is very convenient to get around - Room was well designed and thought out, great use of a small space - Room was very clean - Hotel was very quiet and relaxing Cons - Pillows were awful, very lumpy, no firm pillows - Staff were not friendly and sometimes ignored us, tried to order a coffee one morning and the barista never acknowledged our presence

The location is pretty good for using the metro and also getting to Broadway etc. We weren’t that happy with the hotel though. The rooms are REALLY small and they originally gave us a corner room with the bed in the corner. This only allowed access to the bed from one side since it was up against a wall both on the left side and the foot of the bed. You would need to literally crawl over your partner if you needed to get out or in. They did change us to a different room when we complained. Then that night the air conditioning didn’t work so we spent the first night uncomfortably hot. We told them in the morning and they did fix it. Also our hairdryer was broken. I felt like I was constantly calling them to fix something. Not worth what we paid. Staff and service was very good though.

L’emplacement était idéal. Si vous avez la chance d’essayer le restaurant, faite-le, car il est excellent. L’hôtel est propre. Le service au chambre est plutôt lent (la chambre n’était nettoyée que vers 16:30 alors que nous étions partis visiter la ville depuis 8:30, les 2 jours).

The Arlo is a wonderful hotel with a fantastic staff. The hotel is in a great location with excellent food options inside. The hotel bar has five star drinks and food. The rooms are clean and the shower is outstanding. Looking forward to coming back.

The location was great but a little noisy but I expected that staying there. We had issues w/ things getting fixed on a timely manner. The TV, our phone, and our "cooler" was broken. While the TV was fixed, the phone was barely working. And we added for the cooler to be fixed in the morning while we were out, and it was still broken when we came back in the late afternoon.

I’ve stayed at the Arlo SoHo and loved it so it was an obvious choice when I found the midtown location for this trip. The Arlo smells amazing and the staff are always so lovely and helpful. The room was good they are on the smaller side but this is New York you’re rarely in the room. Close to Times Square and transit but I walked everywhere. I’d absolutely stay at Arlo again.

We loved our 5 day stay at the Arlo Midtown in May 2024. Very clean, modern chic style. Loved the walk-in shower and modern bathroom. Fantastic view from our south facing room on the 24th floor, just as advertised. The rates were very reasonable and there are a lot of food options close to the hotel. Subway lines were about 10 minutes away, and Times Square and Broadway district only about 10 min walk. Hotel restaurant has a lovely terrace and the food was great. We will be back next year. Highly recommended.

Love this hotel!!! I want to stay here every time I travel to NYC!!! The view from the room was spectacular. I love seeing the city start to light up at night.

Staff was very helpful. The check in and out was easy and smooth. Cleaning staff were efficient and provided extra towels for us promptly. Nice and quiet in a great location if you are going to the theatre. Also close to the subway.

It's a nice hotel but the rooms are small.
