I originally came to New York for work, but at the last minute decided to extend my stay by two nights to live out my Kevin McCallister-at-The-Plaza dream—and I am so glad I trusted my gut.
From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. I was delightfully upgraded to an incredible room that quite literally took my breath away the second I stepped inside. Every detail was thoughtfully done—the bedding, the décor, the ambiance. It felt effortlessly luxurious: modern yet classic, timeless without feeling stuffy.
The staff were absolutely wonderful—warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. I enjoyed afternoon tea, which was lovely and perfectly done, and then fully leaned into the experience. I spent those two nights truly in the hotel: long baths, lounging in a plush robe, ordering room service, and savoring every minute of it.
It was indulgent in the best way possible and worth every single penny. I’m so grateful I made the spontaneous decision to stay—it turned a work trip into a truly memorable experience. Everything was absolutely perfect.
I will be back 1000000%. This is officially my new go-to every time I’m in town.
