”Very very good value for the money ”

”Fantastic setting to explore Cornwall. Lovely food served in restaurant in evenings. Reviews of uncomfortable beds were not bourne out and was very comfortable. Only thing that lets it down is the breakfast in the B&B. For 2 days out of 3 continental breakfast in room not restocked, including milk so couldnt even have hot drink. Rather to have a reduced rate for bed only than promise something not delivered”

”Lovely hotel, staff were super friendly and stay was all I needed. Great place for a walk on the beach and food was great. Lovely place for an evening meal and breakfast offering is great and tasty food ”

”We had a great 3 day stay at the Farmers Arms. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a fantastic breakfast everyday. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, there were tea and coffee making facilities which were replenished every day. St Merryn is a beautiful village with Harlyn and Constantine being some of the best beaches in the country in my opinion. We will definitely be heading back soon.”

”Lots of positives at this B&B. Very clean, lovely bedding and towels, great shower. Excellent breakfast. Good location. The room was a little cramped, and unfortunately we never had a view of the golf course.”

”What a little gem we found, suited our travelling plans, was central to places we planned on visiting. This place is so picturesque set at the bottom on a hill, majestic trees all the way up the hill, with a stream running around the front. We were warmly greeted by a wonderful lady, Jenny. The room was spacious and very well looked after. We will definitely be booking here again, and thank you for making us feel welcomed🤗 ”

”Amazing location, beautiful room which has everything you need. Breakfast was 11/10 - amazing choice and tasted great. Ian and Deborah are the best hosts we've had staying in a b&b - highly reccomend for anyone who wants the true country side experience.”

”Our stay here was great & would recommend staying at the Caroe Farmhouse. The host was very warm, generous, helpful and informative. The room was spacious with a good sized bathroom and very clean. Breakfast was realy good. ”

”Rosie and Bob provided us with the very best stay we could possibly hope for. Their BnB was ultra clean, spacious, well-supplied, comfortable, welcoming and decorated beautifully. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The home cooked English breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. I’d return to England JUST to stay there again!! ”

”We loved the Thomas Hardy connection, the history and the stories that Chris told us about the location and history. We loved the friendly atmosphere, warm welcome, and we felt more like family than tourists. We loved the room, the location, and the peace and quiet.loved the attention to detail and the sustainable and ecological energy and food production - so inspiring. Loved the garden tour - thank you Sally. There is nothing that we didn't love - and will be visiting again.....”

”Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

”Had a lovely time in a perfect accommodation. Have recommended to lots of people since being back. Only lower in cleanliness as we found some Underwear down the side of the sofa . Would love to go back here again”
