”Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

”Perfect location to use as a base to tour Cornwalls beautiful coastlines. Fantastic views of Padstow/Rock estuary and lovely sunsets. Convenient location to amenities/shops etc. but in the countryside, peaceful retreat. Well equipped apartment, made to feel like home from home. Parking facilities in the local pub car park very convenient. Recommend the local pub if you didn’t feel like cooking for yourself.”

”A wonderfully historic house with an equally wonderful garden, location and views. So very peaceful. Only a quick drive to Launceston for provisions. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. Lots of games for the garden and indoor board games for family fun. It was hard to drag ourselves away to go enjoy all the fun things to do in the area. The owner provided a very comprehensive list.”

”This is a beautiful location. The cottage itself is spotlessly clean and cosy with everything you need. Plenty of room for a family of 4. If you’re after a peaceful spot this is perfect. Good facilities and everything you needed for a short stay. Comfy and clean - there were a fair few well established cobwebs in the bedroom and flies, but this is to be expected in a working farm. A fly swat would be useful though - especially for a quiet undisturbed sleep at night. All linen, bathroom and utensils absolutely spotless though. Owners were...

”Bay Cottage is just right for our stays when down visiting family nearby. Easy access to the beach, canal and town centre. Parking away from the main road, and safe. Sounds of the birds waking you in the morning confirms this oasis of peace, despite the town location. Large grounds giving plenty of space to walk your dogs last thing at night. Owners in easy reach and happy to sort any problems with a smile.”
