”Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum, wunderschönes Gebäude mit viel Charme. Die Zimmer sind groß und sensationell eingerichtet. Wer auf alte Gemäuer steht, muss hier einfach übernachten. John hat ein tolles Frühstück gezaubert und ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Absolut empfehlenswert, jederzeit wieder!!!”

”Such a shame, incredible grounds but massively let down by the service. As someone who travels extensively, most of which in premium establishments - this was one of the most disappointing stays I have had (Room, Afternoon Tea & Spa) - The greeting was inappropriate, only ever acknowledging me, never my fiancée (as if she wasn't there) - The room was very very tired. I totally understand the constraints with the National Trust / listed building. However the room was very tired, extension...

”A comfortable Inn to stay the night, but as in all old houses, you can hear everything trough the walls. Like the busy pub downstairs or the other guest walking around upstairs. Convieniently close to the castle, but loads of narrow stairs, to get to the rooms.”

”The property was beautiful, in a great location. The surrounding area was amazing and we got so lucky with the weather. The Bay View & the Stag were great pubs and the chippy directly opposite was a god-send on arrival. The facilities at the property were more than sufficient, more than enough of everything. Couldn't recommend more.”
