The staff was great. Food was also very good (both dinner and breakfast). The wifi connection was a bit slow. No parking spaces by the hotel, but few parking places nearby (around two minutes walk).

Phenomenal location, right in the middle of town and easily walkable to all the greatest bars and restaurants. Room and bathroom were a bit small, but not crazily.

Camera con due letti singoli invece che un letto matrimoniale come prenotato. Veniamo sistemati al primo piano, purtroppo quella sera c'era la musica dal vivo che ci ha tenuto compagnia fino a ora tarda. Acqua della doccia bollente e difficilmente regolabile, dimensioni del bagno veramente ridotte.

Tongale hotel is right in the city centre and 2min walking to the colorhouse viewpoint. The tap is a big issue. The hot and cold water comes from different tap and the hot water is scalding hot and the cold is ice cold. No mixing hence we have to stick to washing our face and brushing tea with ice water. Otherwise nice having bf provided

The location is perfect and walking distance to the restaurants and supermarket however the facilities are kind of old and no lift but stairs only to the guest rooms. For one night only it shouldn't be a problem.

Not fancy, but Good location in center of Portree. A little amusing going thru the pub to get to rooms Parking available nearby. Restaurant and pub pleasant enough.

This was a great value. Accommodations were simple, but very clean and convenient. All the employees were very nice. Bar and restaurant on site. The food was very flavorful, and breakfast was included. The atmosphere in the lobby was comfortable and a place connect with other travelers. A great location to explore Isle of Skye. We would FOR SURE stay there again.

Rooms are above bar/restaurant. Was kitchen noise til 10pm. It’s in the center of Portree so it was convenient. We were fortunate to find a parking spot out front. There is a large lot in city square a couple blocks away. Room was tiny!! Bathroom was 4 foot by 8 foot. For the value it is not good, however Portree is expensive!! Probable would choose another if back.

Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming. It"s an old building but full of character and nicely decorated.

Lovely affordable option in Portree, the cost of a private room with breakfast was only slightly more than a hostel with dorm-style rooms - totally worth it. Hotel is just around the corner from the main square and bus stop. Lots of food options close by. Staff was very friendly, bar was nice, breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again while visiting Skye.

Perfect for our one night in Portree. Breakfast came with the room and the hot option was delicious. We were fortunate to be in a room that was over a shop so it was quieter than being by the entrance which had a lively bar.

Good location, inexpensive
Nice location in the middle of town. There is no parking but the receptionist at the desk pointed out a free public lot about two blocks away. The room was small but very adequate. Hotels in Portree are expensive and this was one of the less expensive ones. Thre is a bar and restaurant on the main floor. It was fairly quiet after 10:00PM.

The hotel was very average. The rooms were clean, but nothing wowed me in the slightest. The fact you walk through the restaurant to get to the room was different to me. The rooms were clean which is a plus and the staff were friendly. The best part about this hotel has to be it's location. It did also seem a bit pricey at 154 pounds a night in October.

The property is in the center of Portree. Parking is congested through town. A city parking lot is available for a fee. The lot is a short distance from the hotel. Hotel dining is very good. I suggest reservations for dinner. Lunch is not provided.

This property is in a great location right in the center of Portree. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy and toiletries were provided. The rooms are located above a bar and restaurant. The food in the restaurant was excellent. My only issue was at my age 40 steps to get to my room with luggage was challenging.

Wir waren mit dem Aufenthalt zufrieden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Zimmer sauber. Es kann hilfreich sein sich einen Platz für sein Nachtessen im Hotelrestaurant zu reservieren, denn in Portree sind Essensmöglichkeiten sehr gut ausgebucht. Das Restaurant bietet eine einfache Küche, das Essen ist aber gut.
