”Checked into a non-smoking room, and the moment I walk in it smells like smoke in the air, pillows, sheets, etc. Staff was nice and friendly which was great. Said it was a queen bed but looked and felt like a full. Fridge was very big and spacious and having a microwave was a nice addition, I will admit. No sound proofing in the walls so you can hear people above you (if on bottom floor) using running water, showering, or going up and down the stairs. Woke me up a few times in the night. TV...

”I was late coming in first time in California.I ended up in a different part of town the staff was on the phone with me guiding me to the right location from being lost and even standing outside to help direct me and find me.I was at a wrong motel. I was exhausted from a 18hr drive from Texas. They He check me in and made sure i didn't lose my reservation from Expedia. I wanted to try from exhaustion. When i woke up from a long nap. ”Stay was nice. We had a person in next hotel room blasting their TV in late night ruining our sleep. I called front desk and they handled it immediately. Took two calls but guessing the problem guest was the issue. A big thank you to staff foe caring and fast handling. ”

The hotel is close to the highway, which makes it easy to access, though the traffic noise is noticeable in the rooms, especially early in the morning and late at night. The main issue during my stay was cleanliness. When I went to take a shower on the first night, there was hair left in the bathtub. It was very late, so I cleaned it myself rather than calling staff. We also opened the sofa bed and found used tissues and chocolate wrappers inside,...

”This hotel is likely ideal for families visiting San Diego, but not as ideal for couple using it for a one night stay. The location is good -close to the freeway. The pool is lovely, but the hotel surrounds the pool and every room pretty much faces it. As a result it was a bit noisy until 10pm. Also the breakfast was meh - very little of what I consider healthier options. Overall it’s a fine property, but maybe not ideal for people looking for peace and quiet.”

”Very poor beds.... lumpy, noisy, terribly uncomfortable. Ants in the bathroom. Shower got water everywhere. Won't stay here again. ”

”Very easy to check in and we were able to go straight to the room. The room was very clean and accommodating. We had the breakfast buffet, which was good. Very easy to get to the freeway and restaurants and fast food places not too far away. Did not experience the pool because we had other things to do i.e. sightseeing. overall, it was good choice and we would stay there again.”
