”At the very first moment, the owner Al made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was cosy and comfortable with all the necessary thing one would need. Breakfast was ok. Since we had been on the road for almost two weeks prior to our arrival, Al insisted we use his washing machine to wash our clothes! Had a good time spending one evening at the pool and around the campfire getting to know people. Would recommend this place to anyone that's ever going that way! Good...

”The rooms are being renovated and mine was clean and like new. I think more room improvements are coming as I'd describe it as 'spartan'. I only needed a nice clean bed and great shower after a day of hiking and biking and this was just fine. ”

”Loved how genuinely hospitable and real this lodging felt! Not to mention the warm and welcoming owner, the spectacular view of Whiteface mountain (so close that I felt that I could reach out and touch it), the majestic music on arrival, and the oodles of personality in every inch of it.......the likes of which is so missing in the cookie-cutter lodgings that we are so accustomed to! ”À notre arrivée , il aura fallu 40 minutes d’attente dans une certaine panique, pour avoir le bon code pour entrer dans la chambre . On nous a texté le mauvais code et puisqu’il n’y a personne sur place , le seul point de contact est un répondeur avec une boîte vocale pleine ou un cell pour envoyer un texto . Ce que nous avons fait . Mais il aura fallu 40 minutes pour se faire répondre . J’ai trouvé ce temps d’attente très angoissant. Ce n’est pas agréable de se retrouver avec cet enjeu sans...
