”Nice and comfortable stay. Their breakfast and the restaurant in general is top notch! Enjoyed every tasty mouthful! Our room was a bit cool, but I guess it was because of quick drop of outside temperature to -10°C. Bathroom stayed warm thou. They told me in the reception that we can adjust the temperature, but it is slow to react. As a person used to cold places I think that their heating (and/or insulation) is not sufficient for -10°C and to maintain normal room temperature. Under the blankets...
”Great breakfast and fine location, premises were clean. However, the air in the room was bad, a little bit stale without having a window open and the apartment building was quite old, doors and locking system may need renovation, but especially a poor air ventilation affected negatively for the review. In overall, ok stay considering the price level.”
”The guesthouse was located in a beautiful countryside area just a couple of miles off the main road from Myvatn. The staff was friendly, and we liked that they had postcards, stamps, and some locally made Icelandic wool sweaters for purchase. Our room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated its private bathroom. We visited the restaurant for some evening wine to relax after a day of travel, and the breakfast was tasty and convenient before we headed out to continue our adventure.”
