”The number 1 thing in my book is location. It's located right on the beach a small walk down some stairs not belonging to the hotel that are a bit slippery because of the sand that's built up on them. The facility is absolutely beautiful and clean. The employees at the hotel care about the guest and go above and beyond. The pool are is a little bit small but that's ok if you get your chaise lounger early. The food is exceptionally good however a portion of the menu is made by a local restaurant...

”The pool and the view of the ocean were great. Very convenient walk to bars, restaurants, and the ocean board walk. Beach access was perfect. Very friendly staff and we even got to check in early. Will stay again as we enjoyed are stay.”

”The resort is lovely and has a very tropical lush feel we were stay vacationing 30 minutes from home and it really felt like we’d flown to Hawaii or somewhere in the South Pacific. The accommodation was great for a family of four, with a nice bungalow, large bedroom space and cute bathroom and we had a view out onto the bay. During our stay one of the restaurants was closed, and so we ended up having the same menu on both nights. The hotel did tell us ahead of time about the restaurant...

”Everything was very nice. Water pressure was severely lacking. Made taking a shower feel like a poor experience. Could use an update.”

”The location is great, right around the block from the beach. The staff overall were helpful, one of the front desk attendants wasn’t very friendly and when I approached her about our broken hair dryer she seemed inconvenienced. For a 5 day stay, we didn’t have anyone come by to bring fresh towels or grab trash. We later learned it was by request only, but for longer stays it really should be automatic. Some of the outlets in the room didn’t work and one of the fans in the room made a loud noise...

”Very friendly staff! So grateful they were flexible with check-in as my flight got delayed. Big kitchen; bagels and cream cheese for breakfast. Note that there is only one bathroom (shower included, so it's not possible to have one person shower while another uses the bathroom) for the dorm of 14 people. I never had an issue conflicting with anybody, but just know that there's only one bathroom. There are 2 sinks outside the bathroom, though.”

”Awesome ocean view, stayed in a wrap around room with great balcony views of the city skyline and Pacific beach. Awesome staff and the area was safe and family friendly. A 1 minute walk to the beach.. can’t beat that. ”

”Every day went there was very polite. It’s great for kids. The pool is open till 10. The slides do close early though at 5 PM I think.”

”The room was clean, the grounds are beautiful and look to be well cared for. The staff were accommodating and supported an early check in with ease. We never had an opportunity to try the restaurant. However, the service and the drinks in the lounge were great! Thank you Catamaran for making our little getaway great! ”
