”It is comfortable, older hotel. Quirky even. Everyone very helpful, nothing a bother. Bedding and towels excellent quality. Breakfast was freshly cooked, and superb. Plenty of choices. Service excellent. Dinner was fabulous, in presentation and taste, again cooked to order. A busy evening function, but residents came first. Will definitely stay again.”
”Our trip didn’t quite go as planned, but the hotel staff were amazing. After our flight was cancelled, we had to cancel our original booking, but managed to get a later flight. Carol, the manager, came in on her day off to help sort things out so we wouldn’t be charged twice.
The food was also great; my husband said his fish and chips were some of the biggest he’s had (and he’s had a lot!).
The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed including tea and coffee, a TV, fan, iron...
