”Free parking, onsite gym was good. The staff are friendly, check in was quick. The restaurant next door is brilliant, great food and drink. Overall, highly recommended. ”

”Right in the center of town and an easy walk from the train station in Barnstaple. Everything is right there in walking distance and it's all just as funky and charming and welcoming as can be! The hotel's foundation has sunken a bit (or more in some places) which is charming but a little disconcerting if you're thinking you might fall out of bed!”

”I have not stayed here for years and was surprised to see that its still a Brend Hotel ( family hotel). I went for breakfast and it was a traditional waiter service breakfast eg you are shown to a table, another waiter takes your order, you choose the items you want and its freshly cooked ( no food sitting under a heated light)”

”A beautiful setting with everything you could possibly need. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, clean room with good amenities. I also had a stunning beach view. Nothing was too much trouble. They even catered for my Gluten sensitivity. The food at Breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious. My massage was heavenly also. The only think I didn’t like was the fact I had to leave such a wonderful place! ”
