Good stay in Thessaloniki
The place was next to the tourist attraction and our room was located in the courtyard side. The room was silent and had own balcony. Only conside was that it was quite small room. Good and safe place to stay. Money-quality ratio was good.

My recent stay here exceeded all expectations, making it an unforgettable experience. From the moment you step into The Modernist, you are greeted with an atmosphere of modern elegance. The hotel’s aesthetic is a masterful combination of sleek lines, minimalist décor, and warm, inviting tones. The attention to detail is evident in every corner, from the chic lobby to the artfully decorated rooms. The rooms are a testament to thoughtful design and functionality. Spacious and well-lit, they offer a perfect balance of comfort and style. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the high-quality linens added an extra touch of luxury. The room amenities, including the Nespresso machine and the Bluetooth speaker, made my stay even more enjoyable. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring modern fixtures and a refreshing rain shower. The staff at The Modernist Thessaloniki are exceptional. From the friendly receptionists to the attentive housekeeping team, everyone goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and well taken care of. Their warm hospitality and willingness to assist with any request made my stay particularly pleasant.

Otopark büyük sorun..
Otel genel olarak iyi, çalışanlar çok saygılı, güler yüzlü ve yardımsever ancak otelin bulunduğu konum itibariyle bölgede otopark çok ciddi sorun.. Otel açıklamasında otopark var yazılmasına kanmayın, otoparka ulaşmak araçla 10 dakika sürüyor.. Özetle, aracınız varsa bu Otel size göre değil.. Ayrıca sabah kahvaltısında masa bulabilmek için 15 dakika beklemek zorunda kalabilirsiniz Zira bizim tecrübemiz bu şekilde oldu.. Kahvaltı için çalışan personel de inanılmaz büyük bir çaba gösteriyor ama otelin fiziki koşulları çok kötü, çok küçük.. Nikos, sana büyük teşekkür! 🙏

If I could give 10 stars I would. From the moment you walk into this hotel and are greeted by friendly people who know you by name to every time you leave/return they say goodbye or hello. And again they address you by name. Always with a smile and a friendly attitude. All of the staff were like this. The rooms are smaller, but well appointed with everything you need. Including an in-room, mini bar, Nespresso machine, slippers, and fine linens. It was also equipped with music with a specially curated playlist. Our double room had two baths and two balconies. One overlooking the busy street (fun to people watch) and the other for a quiet relaxing morning coffee or evening cocktail. The complimentary breakfast on the rooftop was amazing and a pleasant surprise. The location is perfect. Just a short walk away from Aristotle square and all of the shops, dining bars and entertainment. Getting back to the staff, I cannot express how accommodating and friendly they are.

İyi ki deneyimledim, her an çok güzeldi.
Güler yüzlü personel ve inanılmaz arkadaşça karşılama ile bir gece kalmak için plan yaptığımız konaklamamızı otelden çok memnun kaldığımız için ikinci geceye uzaktık. Hafta sonu kahvaltısı oldukça zengin ve sağlıklıydı. Her damak zevkine uygun opsiyon vardı. Temizlik kısmı bizim için önemliydi ve kendimizi çok rahat hissettik.

The images Expedia displayed were completely different from the room the hotel gave. The room was cramped with no doors for the bathroom and vanity. Expedia refused to help once I reported it to them.

Very comfortable room, nice mattress, good lighting. Excellent shower. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, with a wide range of fresh, homemade choices and cooked to order eggs. I left early for the airport my last morning, and they had an amazing to-go breakfast for me at the desk. Would definitely stay again.

Otoparkları olmamasına rağmen var diye gözüküyordu ya da biz yanlış gördük. Bunun yüzünden 40 Euroya yakın otopark parası ödedik.Onun dışında herşey çok güzeldi. Otel çalışanları gayet güler yüzlü ve samimi. Bize çok yardımcı oldular. Otel gayet temiz. Resepsiyonla,asansör arası bavullarınızı bir alt kattan geçirmeniz gerekiyor. Yani merdivenlerden aşağı inip asansöre ulaşıyorsunuz. Binanın eski ve merkezde olması sebebiyle sanıyorum tarihi dokusu değiştirilmemiş. Yan tarafında güzel bir kilise var. Genel olarak odalar ofislere bakıyor sanıyorum. Bizim odamız çok sessizdi ama camı açtığımız anda karşı tarafta masasında çalışan ofisteki kadınla sürekli göz göze geliyorduk :) Oteli kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum !

Wished we were staying longer...
Sadly we were only staying in Thessaloniki for one night, The Modernist is more than worthy of a longer visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast on the roof terrace was wonderful!

Great hotel. Staff were exceptional. Super clean. I am not sure that I would say this one was a five star per se because it lacked the amenities like others in the area. However, great spot, great rooms and super if you are on the go!

Mary Poppins Hotel....practically perfect...
Stayed 5 days and wanted to stay more. Nothing was too much trouble and all staff were friendly. Breakfast to put many 5 star hotels to shame and toiltries were first class.

Det skønneste hotel med dejlig morgenmad
The Modernist, hvor vi nød 3 overnatninger var et super dejligt bekendtskab. Det hele startede i receptionen, hvor vi blev budt velkommen af tre smilende, imødekommende og hjælpsomme søde ansatte. Værelset fremstod nyt og moderne indrettet med en virkelig god og behagelig seng og et skønt og lækkert badeværelse. Desuden var der en dejlig altan med cafebord og to stole. Morgenmaden, som foregår på rooftop, var ligeledes virkelig lækker og velassorteret. Også her blev man mødet at to smilende og hjælpsomme ansatte, som blandt andet lavede omeletter, spejlæg eller scrambled egs - alt efter ønske. Vi er ovenud tilfredse med vores ophold og vil helt sikkert vende tilbage næste gang, vi besøger den dejlige by Thessaloniki.
