”We had a wonderful stay at An Nhien. The owner and staffs were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome from the moment they picked us up at the airport. We really appreciated the free pick up and drop off at the airport. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. It was too big for just one air conditioner because it took a while for the air conditioner to cool down the room. If you stay in the summer, we suggest a smaller room like the bungalow. ”The homestay was a good experience in general but was quite far from Cat Ba Town. We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. There were spiders and a centipede in the room but it was fine once we removed the critters. Lots of farm sounds with roosters, barking dogs...
