Nestled within the exclusive Sandbridge section of Virginia Beach, this condo offers a serene retreat at The Sanctuary at False Cape Condominium community—an ideal haven for beachcombers and those longing for romantic walks along the shoreline.

    The beautifully designed kitchen, featuring granite countertops and ceramic tile flooring, is a perfect focal point for your stay. Whether you’re enjoying your first cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at sunset, the balcony provides the perfect spot to take in breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.

    Elegantly furnished, this condo includes free WiFi, TVs, and access to three private pools as well as grilling stations surrounded by lush landscaping or stay active in the state-of-the-art exercise room equipped with treadmills, plasma TVs, and weights.

    Once you experience Beach Escape, you may never want to leave!

    Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
    Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
    All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
    No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
    Do not move furniture between rooms.
    The community pool is open annually from the beginning of June to the end of August for guest use. Pool dates are weather permitting and at the Condo Association's discretion.

    No pets are allowed at this vacation rental.
    Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

    Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

    Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Easy living

Great place for a vacation with kids. Multiple pools and right on the beach. Grills were key so that we could enjoy fresh local seafood. Would recommend and visit again.

we were absolutely in love with the location and the cleanliness inside the unit.The beach amd the water or some of the nicest on the East Coast we have ever been too. The unit was listed as elegant furnishings, or the case, but just ok. swim up bar looks like it hasn't been open it years outside of the property is dirty and poorly maintained

Exceeded Expectations

We had an amazing experience at Sandbridge. The space was way larger than we anticipated and the check in process was effortless. The unit was clean and my family was comfortable. If I had anything negative to say it would only be that the outdoor furniture could use a good cleaning and the parking although abundant is very confusing. Otherwise I would definitely go again!

Nice Enough

The location was nice and quiet tho we were there off season. It is beach front. There were several pieces of broken/stained furniture. The dresser in the one rooms had 3 broken drawers. There is a crockpot in the kitchen which was nice for us. It also would have been nice to know before booking that we had to go get the key/door passes at a different location. We were in a bus and it wasn’t super convenient to go to the office. Overall nice stay and met our needs.

Good location, bad maintenance.

We've stayed at The Sanctuary before, and it is a very nice beach and location. I was disappointed by the rental. The unit was not well cleaned. Carpet was dirty. Counters and tables weren't wiped down. Furniture was stained and broken. Several burnt out bulbs, smoke detectors with dead batteries, and broken items. The beds were clean and comfortable which was nice. Place needs a good cleaning and freshening up.

Very nice!

We were pleased with our stay overall. There were just a couple of things I would note that account for my 4, versus 5, star rating. When we arrived the entire 2nd floor hallway to the condo was lined with laundry bags from the previous week's occupants. The next morning all except for the laundry bags from our unit were taken. I did send a message to the rental company via the app to address the issue, but they were not removed at all during our stay. It wasn't that big of a deal as they were outside the unit, but still, they were an eye sore. The key for the storage unit did not work. But it ended up being ok though because the storage unit was a very long and windy walk through the basement. Note that the storage units are not in any sequential order and there was no indication of where to find the one associated with the unit, so we just kept looking until we found it. But again, the key did not open it, so it didn't matter. The listing boasts 3 outdoor pools which we were quite excited about. However, the pool with the swim-up bar was very small and overly crowded. The second pool in Building B seemed bigger and perhaps that was because of the larger space to spread out around the pool, but there were barely any lounge chairs and that was probably because the capacity was posted as only being able to hold a maximum of 37, I believe. I found that quite odd for such a large complex. But safety rules are meant to be followed so I don't take issue with the limited capacity and I just wanted to mention it because it is something we would have considered. Finally, upon locating the 3rd, and from what I understand largest, pool some of the people in our party discovered that it was closed for the week which we found odd as we were there in June. So overall the pool situation was quite disappointing. It is my opinion that the pictures didn't adequately show the view from the balcony. We were expecting a unit with full beach views. However, the views included mostly full western bay and southern part of Sandbridge views. They were very nice, but it wasn't what we expected. Besides those small issues, I will say that the unit was very spacious and comfortable for our stay which included 4 adults and 2 teens. The beds were quite comfortable and there was no shortage of places to sleep or sit in the entire unit which was very nice. Thank you for opening your property up to us. We did enjoy our stay!

Beach Fun & Balcony Ban

The interior areas of the unit were spotless and well maintained however on the balcony and exterior were consumed by spiders. We could not enjoy the balcony during our stay. The Beach Pro team did come onsite to clean the balcony and spray for bugs.The spiders returned that evening and the ceiling of the balcony was still consumed by the spiders and their lunch. The pool areas were nice but small compared to the number of residents that use them. The hallways were riddled with spiders and bugs so we literally ran from the front door to the elevator even though we sprayed our door area every day. I would recommend to a friend with serious conditions/caution. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Perfect location. You are right the in-between the ocean and the bay and a short walk to the wildlife preserve. Great amenities. Just hope they find an owner for the grill and swim up bar.

Unit was Amazing, Property is Confusing

The unit was amazing - spotless - and larger than it appears in the pictures - the kitchen had everything we needed for the week and dealing with the realty company was a pleasure. The pools and beach were great. However, the complex itself is very confusing and poorly signed in terms of where things are and how to get to the pools and the beach. The parking garage is so confusing we actually could not find our car for several hours. It was very difficult to find anyone who actually worked at the property to ask for directions or for help.

Wonderful vacation spot

We loved our stay in this condo. It was clean, comfortable, and roomy. Beds comfortable. Kitchen sufficiently equipped. The corner balcony was a big plus; beautiful sunsets on the bay side and partial views from the ocean side. Inside the condo, it was very quiet; the balcony was usually quiet but occasionally it was noisy from traffic, garbage trucks, or AC units. The Sanctuary was well-run. Beach Pros were very professional, friendly, and responsive. The complex was very family oriented; guests were polite and respectful. The pools are small and busy, but they work well for children or for a quick dip to cool off. The swim-up-bar was a fun perk on a hot day. The ocean beach was clean, large, and easily accessible. You can walk across the street to rent a kayak with access to the bay right there. And the proximity to the Wildlife Refuge was fantastic for biking. We sighted a rare Roseate Spoonbill while we were there! On the morning of my last day, I got to watch the full moon setting over the bay from our balcony and then walked the ocean shore as the sun rose. I would definitely return.
