”What a lovely place and very wonderful view. Breakfast was amazing and the hospitality is overwhelming. We were a family of four from London and the room was spacious and comfortable. We are really happy with the service. We do recommend this place for anyone who would like a quiet and peaceful getaway from city life.”

”Staff were friendly, room is very outdated and had a strange smell. Beds were average, shower was good. Breakfast in the morning wasn’t fantastic, we paid £120 for one night stay with breakfast but not sure it’s quite worth that to be honest. Wouldn’t stay here again.”

”I booked a larger double room at this hotel to meet my needs and included special requirements (reasonable adjustments) due to a neurodivergent disability. These were acknowledged in a direct message after booking, giving me confidence my needs would be understood and accommodated. On arrival and check-in, I confirmed my sensitivity to noise. The receptionist assured me I had been placed in a suitable room on a quieter side, but also stated that if I wanted a better room I would need to pay...

”Lovely big rooms”

”Extortionate price for a freezing room with no really hot water. Bar was cold too (no logs put on fire) although food and beer were good. Landlady was unsympathetic - "no one else has complained". She suggested I could have put a second duvet on top. Talk about denial!!!!! Avoid this place if you want value for money and/or until the temperature rises above 18 degrees.”
