”Felt like the staff isn't working, they are just chilling in there? Good luck if your room is on top of the restaurant, the bass from speakers will shake your bed. Also the pods were so hot that couldn't sleep. They have little fans, but it didn't work. All the kitchen equipments are either broken or in really bad condition. ”

”Tämä hostelli ei ole edes yhden tähden arvoinen!!! Huoneessa vain patja lattialla ja yksi pöytä. Tyynyt aivan kauheat, iljettävät. Yhteinen keittiö epäsiisti,ei astioita joista syödä tai juoda,ei haarukoita/veits/lusikoita!! Kaikki kattilat ja paistinpannut käyttökelvottomia!!! Vastaanotto aulassa rikkinäisiä tuoleja. Wc tilat ja suihkut....laatat tippuvat seiniltä, hanat vuotavat, kaikki ovet repsottavat. Huoneiden ovet rikottu lukko kohdista yritetty paikata. En suosittele kenellekään!!!!”

”I stayed in a shared room with 20 beds but only like 5 other people actually there. It was pretty chill, great location and access to lots of restaurants and downtown Auckland right there. Lots of lockers including under my bottom bunk, just used my own lock and had no issues with it. Showers nice and hot, very clean space overall. Great big kitchen and the staff was awesome. Would stay here or another haka lodge again for sure!”

”+location is the best thing in this hotel, close to everything (and little tip: there's city library right next to this, and there's free unlimited wifi, the hotel's own is very expensive), also the view from a room (in 7th floor) was amazing. -terrible smell of mold in the room, and there was major water damage is the ceiling. Didn't feel very safe to sleep there considering my health. Luckily it seemed they were about to renovate the rooms a bit, I really wish they do it properly, cause...

”Tv wouldn't work. I went to reception, she changed the batteries around, but never came and checked. I was very tired and couldn't be bothered going back to her yet again. So, no TV. ”False advertising. Rude staff. Beds with one small blanket in winter. Old building and freezing cold-no insulation. Bathroom tap didn't turn on. Booked for 3 nights, thinking it had a private bathroom as advertised. Upon check in found out no room had private bathroom. All shared. Refused to refund me any money. Even after showing them the advertisement online. Didn't stay and booked elsewhere. Only parking available is pay and display down the road that is more expensive than the room itself. ”
