”Truly an excellent choice. Having stayed at over 14 different locations around South Africa this last month this was refreshing. The chalets was comfortable and had everything we needed. We were gutted to stay just one night as we did not want to leave. We were urged to stay at the ATKV but decided to try this. ”Despite the beautiful location surrounded by majestic mountains, the accomodations were unfortunately sub standard. They are poorly insulated metal trailer like houses with no proper heating. There is a propane burner in the living room that provides some heat in the main room but not in the bedrooms. Even if you do run it, you have to keep the windows open to avoid dying from carbon monoxide. In the morning it was so cold you could see your breath. Many things in the house were falling apart....

”DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY WITH EXPEDIA. The manager doesn’t understand the concept of prepayment. He charged us for the stay, and unwisely, we went ahead and paid — assuming that we would get a refund from Expedia. That was about a week ago. Still waiting to find out if we’re going to get a refund — very annoying, to say the least.”

"Palvelu oli todella ystävällistä. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja monipuolinen. Hotelli on aivan keskustassa eli hotellilta pääsi nopeasti vierailemaan eri paikoissa. Ääntä kuului jonkun verran huoneeseen ulkoa. Katolla oli kiva, lämmitetty ulkoallas. Pidimme myös hotellin ravintoloista. "

"This must be the worst of the big hotels in Nairobi. The service is slow but the staff manages to be inquisitive in all the wrong ways, ringing the bell at strange times etc. I was being called harsh in swahili (I guess I wasn’t supposed to know) when I had to correct them the room was booked for two, just like the ebookers app showed. I don’t like to complain but Nairobi is mostly a welcoming place so you can easily find a better hotel in the area."
