”Property is set back away from the road with trees and garden, very quiet , and relaxing . Jean is a lovely lady making us very welcome, plenty of knowledge of the local area. Room was very comfortable, patio tables outside to be able to sit and chill. We had a lovely breakfast in the granary chatting to Jean a lovely friendly lady. Would recommend .”

”This is a great place to stay. The rooms were motel style so open the door straight outside which was perfect as we had our 5month puppy with us. Dog friendly too, could take her into the pub. On arrival, in our room was a dog bed, two dog bowls, dog towel and a doggy welcome pack - great touch. Our room was comfy and had everything we needed. ”The ownerfamily was very friendly and helpful. Lady of the house even booked a table for us in the nearby pub. The room was pretty big, the doublebed was comfortable, but the "lonely" bed wasn't so much comfortable. Our breakfast was traditional english style, although pretty salty and greasy. Nice room, but did have to ask for a change of sheets after 6 days. Would also have liked a grab bar in the shower. My wife and I are seniors and were nervous about slipping. However, have to say the shower was the easiest to use of any hotel we have stayed in.
