Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review, im always keen to learn if there are areas we can improve our guests experience and I would also like to apologies for any inconvenience caused at the start of your stay.You have booked a single room which comes with a shared toilet. Due to the time of your booking, it wasn’t possible to allocate you closer to it. Had i knew in advance that you have mobility issues i would have tried to come up with options in advance however this was only explained once you had checked in.With regard to the room upgrade charge, although the room was “free” at the time we operate and accept bookings around the clock and it’s not uncommon for same day bookings to arrive. The full amount would have been substantially higher as the ground floor room boasts a balcony overlooking the front garden and is substantially bigger however I did offer a very reduced upgrade charge because of the circumstances. I’m glad to hear that nevertheless you enjoyed your time in the new room.

Hi Paul,We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and i'm glad that you enjoyed your stay with us.Servicing of the rooms is done on a request basis by hanging a small plastic sign on the door handle. If this was done and missed by out staff I can only apologies for this oversight.I hope we will have the pleasure of having you stay with us again in the future.

With regards to parking, sadly Brighton is quite expensive however a few minutes walk is Buzz Bingo Car Park (or those that require car park, we can recommend the Buzz Bingo car park BN2 0LE) which at the moment charge 18.50 for 24hr period.We hope to see you again in the future.

With regards to the automated system it’s done to make the check in process more smooth. Being a small family run hotel we cannot be present 24hr a day however we are available to help with any enquiries by phone and email.
