”This was a beautiful hotel with lots of charm, sweet animals, and a quiet and peaceful vibe. The room was spacious and clean; very good value for the price. Food was not available on demand so bring snacks, and be prepared to wait for assigned meals and dinner times. The full menu was not available. ”We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride...

”The road to the resort was not paved at all (dirt road with tons of potholes, an SUV or bigger vehicle is a must), it was remote, no cell reception (download an offline map), surrounded by jungle. ”A lot of complaints from other guests about building 6 7 and 8 about mould and mildew in their rooms. When they asked to be switched to different rooms they were charged between $700 to $900. The food at the buffets were subpar, Beach was terrible, booze seemed watered down. I would not recommend staying here. Had much better experiences in Cuba of all places. This resort is rated as a 5 star. 2 star is what I would give. The only positive mention for this resort is the amazing staff!”

”I have been to many different resorts in Mexico. I would say this resort is by far the best. They had the best drinks(not watered down), excellent food, clean room. They really cater to their guests. I would visit them again.”

”Great staff. The room was great. Ask to get a beachfront room on the 3rd floor. The trees on the property cut down on the ocean view for the 1st and 2nd floors. The hot tubs were not on. There is an area for a bar, but it is not staffed or stocked. Know before you go that this is in a residential area and there are no restaurants or markets within walking distance. Each cab ride to town was $50US. If you are looking for a remote getaway, this is a great option.”

”Absolutely wonderful place! Beautiful, relaxing, and everything smells so good! My only complaint is the pool is unheated! My 2.5 year old had purple lips within 10 minutes of playing in it in 80° weather. The pool largely remains empty, as it’s just too uncomfortable.”

”They consider themselves as luxury but they are really not. There were mice droppings ALL OVER the outside of the room in the hallways. Mice droppings in the staircase corners. They have an infestation!!! Also everything is made pretty cheap (furniture, decor, etc). The staff was overwhelmed with the occupancy the week we were there. Would not come back. Hector at the pool and beach was great!! And the lady that did the margarita class was awesome!”
