”I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, at least for now. They are in the middle of construction (first announced to us when we checked in), and that makes a significant distraction. Overall, the cleanliness of the hotel leaves room for improvement: bedlinen and towels had a worn and dirty feel even if we asked them to be changed. The room was not refurbished for a long time, and carpet was stained. An attempt to cover it all, there was a strong artificial scent which definitely wasn’t...

Booked The River hotel as it was one of the few hotels I could find with twin beds at a reasonable price located within walking distance to grant park. The attached pub on the street level is nice. Would come next time for a similar trip. Would need a bit of renovation already and definitely more power sockets around the room table ;) Some coffee to go and small stuff to eat in the lobby during mornings would be great. ”
