”I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, at least for now. They are in the middle of construction (first announced to us when we checked in), and that makes a significant distraction. ”Claridge house has a nice location in Chicago Gold Coast. Room was ok, no frills, Sushi restaurant downstairs was good. Things I did not like: 1. "amenities fee" $20 per day added to your quoted price. 2. Rooms were not cleaned daily "because of COVID". 3. At checkout I was told the receipt has been emailed to me. I never received it.”

”Needed a budget place for just sleeping in a central Chicago. For that purpose excellent choice due its location (metro + walking distace everywhere). Quiet+clean hotel and safe location. The attached pub on the street level is nice. Would come next time for a similar trip. Would need a bit of renovation already and definitely more power sockets around the room table ;) Some coffee to go and small stuff to eat in the lobby during mornings would be great. ”
