Olipa matkusteltava Fairbanksin kesÀn keskiyön auringon tai talven aurora borealis - löydÀt tÀmÀn rauhallisen ympÀristön tÀydellinen tukikohta sisÀtilojen Alaskan loma.
TĂ€mĂ€ 3 000 mÂČ: n luonnollinen hirsitalo rakennettiin melkein kokonaan kiinteistöstĂ€ kasvaneista valkoisista kuusista. AlkuperĂ€inen omistaja leikattiin, kĂ€sin kuorittiin ja sallittiin lokit kuivua. Sitten hĂ€n solmi ensimmĂ€isen johtavan hirsitalon rakentajan kĂ€sin kirjaamaan jokaisen lokin paikoilleen vuonna 1990. Hirsin yksityiskohta on kauneuden asia. Se on maalaismainen, kodikas tunne, jonka vain kotoa voi antaa.
TÀmÀ premium-hirsitalo tarjoaa nÀkymÀt Alaska-alueelle ja Denaliin sisÀpihasta tai rentoutuen suurella ulkoterassilla, kun taas grillaat suosikki Alaskan-ÀyriÀisruokaa. Suuri ylÀkerran parvi makuuhuone nukkuu neljÀ yhden queen size-vuode ja parivuode. Huomaa, ettÀ kahden hengen sÀngyt ovat kÀytettÀvissÀ matala-seinÀllÀ kÀyttÀen kolmea portaita molemmin puolin hirsirainan. TÀmÀ antaa jonkin verran yksityisyyttÀ jokaisesta nÀistÀ viereisistÀ nukkumatiloista parvella. TÀmÀ on suosittu paikka nukkua ja tuo lapsi kaikille vieraille.
Pari alakerrassa makuuhuoneet kÀvellÀ ulos kellarista, kussakin on queen-size-vuoteet. Kaikissa huoneissa on nÀkymÀt ja pÀÀsee portaiden kautta. Kaikissa kolmessa tasossa on kylpyhuoneet kÀtevÀsti. Pesula ja suihku sijaitsevat pohjakerroksessa.
On tilava syödÀ-keittiö ja myös valtava ruokailutila, joka istuu suuret ryhmÀt mukavasti. Keittiö on hyvin varustettu ruokia, ruoanlaittovÀlineitÀ, mausteita ja muita olennaisia.
Istuinalue lÀhellÀ tulta on suosituin paikka lukea, kun taas perhehuoneessa on 60 "kaareva televisio saatavilla katseluun.
Avaimeton avaimen ansiosta kÀyttö on kÀtevÀÀ, eikÀ ole huolta kadonneista avaimista tai saapumisajasta.
Off street parking on runsaasti ja on headbolts talvella vieraita kytkeÀ niiden ajoneuvoja, kun sÀÀ laskee subzero lÀmpötiloissa.
Uskon, ettÀ rauha ja hiljaisuus, jotka vieraat nauttivat oleskellessaan tÀllÀ loma-asunnolla, tulee "kotimaisuudesta", joka on rakennettu todella paikallisista lokeista. Se ei voi saada enemmÀn orgaanista kuin se!

Was a wonderful stay, all the amenities needed for a 5 day trip to Fairbanks. Kathy is wonderful to work with, regarding the rental process. This was my first time staying in a cabin and it was so beautiful! It was way better than I had imagined and it had so much space! There are 3 floors with the middle floor being the main floor with the kitchen. It has a large balcony with a beautiful view of forests and mountains in the back. The living room is located on the bottom floor with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with laundry machines. There is even a sauna! The top floor have the master bedroom with another bathroom and a jacuzzi. The location was perfect for viewing the northern lights because we were able to see it from right outside the front door. Our host, Kathy, was very kind and so helpful throughout the stay. Even before we arrived she gave us a warning about the icy road leading to the cabin that were still present. Thank you Kathy! I would definitely stay here again!

Here for 8 nights in early March without any previous aurora experience but caught them 6 nights (snow two nights). It is very dark here with minimal sky lighting from Fairbanks. In fact, our best aurora pics were during a full moon. Well-appointed, everything you could possibly need. Washer, dryer, all other appliances top notch... and the dryer was fast. Lots of towels. Furniture is very comfortable. The view is excellent with a clear view of Denali a few days. Plenty of moose tracks, black squirrels... and Kathy showed us Ring camera pics of a moose crossing the driveway. Kathy is a good communicator and was very helpful in providing aurora and travel/tourist advice.

The house was so more than we had hoped for in many ways - it’s huge, extremely well kept, has a cozy feel, and we had amazing views of the Aurora two nights in a row. The backyard is also very spacious and we had a clear view of Denali the day we arrived. The host, Kathy, was an absolute pleasure to interact with and was very organized with check-in/out info. She also had many great recommendations in a binder for us on the table which really completed our visit to Fairbanks. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Quiet, private, peaceful and spacious. Convenient to Fairbanks but definitely had a peaceful and comfortable feel. Communication with the property manager was super easy and as responsive as you could hope!

This log home was gorgeous and wonderfully decorated. It is spacious and homey at the same time. The kitchen has all the appliances you could want. There were so many cozy places you could curl up on your own or hang out as a group. Kathy was a great host and because we came in on a day with very high winds and rain she had the place set up in case of a power outage. We appreciated her attention to detail.

The house was beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out on the back deck looking out at the Alaska range in the distance. It was very relaxing. The house was also very comfortable with multiple comfortable seating areas and a well stocked kitchen. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.

First, this was an amazing property. You are about 20 minutes from downtown Fairbanks, close enough to get in and out, but the benefit of being secluded with beautiful views. Highly recommend. The only reason we gave it 4 stars is due to a strange situation with the property owner. She is very nice and accommodating, but the first night we arrived she sent me a message on VRBO asking if we want her to come over and show us the ropes. I responded no thanks, we're good and will let her know if we need anything. Then the next morning we were getting ready and there was a loud banging on the front door. My kids were very startled and a bit afraid, as we told them we are in an isolated spot and nobody would be coming to the house. I opened the door and it was the property owner who said she came over to get her toolbox. Considering that we had always communicated promptly on VRBO, we felt it was improper for her to just show up without at least letting us know before hand and scheduling a mutually convenient time.

We had a different home booked but it got canceled so we were happy to find Kathy’s place. Only reason we had not booked it already was it has 2 1/2 baths and we were hoping for 3 since we had 3 couples. 3 baths are hard to find so we made it work. Kathy was very easy to work with and we found her place exceptional. This was a bucket list trip and we hoped to see Northern lights and we were not disappointed. We got to see them 2 nights. The 2nd time we knew they were coming we drove up to Cleary Summit and we did see a little but it was cold and a lot of people there so we decided to go back to the house. When we got home they were bright right in front of the house. We saw them better right there. House was very well appointed. Everything you need in the kitchen. Nice large table for playing games and large groups. Kathy had pretty much thought of every thing. If there was one suggestion, beds could use a mattress topper. The other 2 couple said there beds were good but my husband and I found our bed to be too hard. But we would stay again for sure!!

Beautiful property, very spacious, and beautifully decorated. Very well stocked with everything a person may need. Kathy, the Best Hostess! We were 5 adults, house is 3 stories, lots of privacy. Lovely deck and the view of Daneli, was breath taking from back of house. Kathy brought us over delicious fresh baked muffins the first AM. We loved our stay, 1 wk, and we will definitely be back. Thanks Kathy❀

From booking to arrival to departure this was a magical place for a lovely home base for all of our Fairbanks adventures!! We all enjoyed every moment at the Moose in the Garden Cabin. We saw the Aurora right from our bedroom! Every room was comfy and the view from the living room ~ DENALI ~ completely mesmerizing! Me and my husband stayed for 5 nights in this amazingly cozy cabin. It was everything we were looking for. Super clean, beds incredibly comfortable, and Kathy was very easy to work with! My husband & I stayed here for a leisure trip and it has the most beautiful view! The cabin is nice and large open floor plan. Plenty of space for others to join us for next time. Clean and equipped with all essentials. Great location to town and major highways and convenient to airport. Kathy is a great hostess!

This Fairbanks cabin is beautiful!! We spent most of our time on the back deck viewing the awesome Alaskan sky ,we’re we saw the Northern Lights one night. This log home was so much more than what I had anticipated! There are so many comfortable sitting areas that guests can use throughout the house. Our two teenage boys slept in the loft twin beds while we took the queen in the loft, and the two grandparents had the whole basement. Everything was very well stocked, and it felt so homey. The back deck overlooked the mountains, and the yard was perfect for our boys to play catch. We loved that it was a private setting outside of town, yet close enough to make a quick run in if you needed something. It was also a nice location for an evening walk. Everything was clean and well cared for. Don’t hesitate to book here. You’ll settle right in and feel at home.

Fantastic place to stay, well equipped kitchen, spacious home, beautiful surrounding, easy to get to, just an all around great place to stay in Fairbanks!! we will definitely return.
