One of the reasons we picked this hotel is because of their “airport shuttle” service, “with surcharge” they said. That means that there are yellow taxis outside the hotel and you have to negotiate prices. Upon arrival, all of the staff was unfriendly. The room was ok - nothing special, definitely not as nice as the pictures. The bathroom was not great at all. The shower was so cramped, the doors would not close, and so the bathroom got flooded. Even the shower handle came off, and the water temperature spontaneously fluctuated between scorching hot and cold all by itself. Best part of the stay: nice clean sheets, the pool, and the buffet breakfast (for which you have to pay extra). By the way, if you need to change money, do it before you get to that hotel, because there is no possibility of doing it there, unless you take a taxi to a money exchange. Finally, the hotel is in tbe boondocks. Nothing picturesque nearby. No place to go without a taxi. Not a pretty part of Istanbul. A taxi to the hotel from the international airport costs between $60 - $100
