”Just back from a 2 night stay over the bank Holiday in superior sea view room. Views were simply outstanding. Room was large and recently refurbished with a good shower and a big bed. Lots of power sockets. Fresh clean blackout curtains. We walked down the beach to the Cabin for Pimms and snacks. Cabin is also owned by the hotel. ”The Royal Beacon is a nice comfortable hotel with excellent views. The bedroom furniture was a bit dated but in reasonable condition. The bed was very great. The bathroom décor was also a bit dated, but very clean and serviceable with plenty of hot water and flutty clean towels. The staff were very pleasant. It's just a shame there's no evening dining. Having said that, there are lots of restaurants and cafes in close proximity. ”
