Arcadian-mökki Bishop Branch Creekissä

Kesällä 2017 rakennettu Arcadian Cabinin sijainti Lounais-Wisconsinin Driftless-alueella on todellinen puistomainen tunnelma. Sekä Crystal Creek että piispa Branch Creek sijaitsevat askeleen päässä katetusta kannesta. Omaisuus (3 hehtaarin) sijaitsee piha täydellinen tulentekopaikkoja (polttopuut tarjotaan), stargazing, nurmikon pelejä, tai vain lounging ja rentouttava. Lisäksi 58 hehtaaria julkista maata vieressä omaisuutta on saatavilla retkeilyyn, kalastukseen, metsästykseen, lumikenkäilyyn, lintujen tarkkailuun ja muihin ulkoiluun - ei tarvitse ajaa, nämä toiminnot ovat kaikki saatavilla paikan päällä heti kävelemällä ulos ovi.

Päivän päätteeksi 16'x28'-hytti, joka ylpeilee 18-kertaisella korkealla katolla päähuoneessa, toivottaa sinut tervetulleeksi ja viisi ylimääräistä vierasta (nukkuu kuusi). Arcadian sijainti on ihanteellinen kaikille matkustajien tarpeisiin. Vernon Countyn lääninpaikkakunta Viroqua on alle 5 mailin päässä ja siellä on lukuisia kauppoja, festivaaleja, haastava golfkenttä ja laadukkaita ravintoloita. Kickapoo Valley Reserve on alle 10 minuutin päässä julkisen maan lisäksi etuovelta, sillä se tarjoaa melontaa, patikointia, metsästystä, kalastusta ja lukuisia muita ulkoilumahdollisuuksia ja vaeltaa yli 8 000 aaria.

Lisäsimme kiinteistöön varastotilan, jossa voit lukita joitakin vaihteistasi ja kuivata kahlaajat. Käytössäsi on myös telakan pelejä, hiiligrilliä ja muita säilytyspaikan kohteita.

Palkittu ravintola, Kickapoo Coffee, useita viinitiloja (Vernon Viinitilat, Viinitarhojen sivut), elokuvateatteri, kausittainen viljelijän markkinat, antiikkiesineitä ja erikoisliikkeitä sekä The Historic Temple Theatre ovat vain muutamia paikallisia nähtävyyksiä vain muutaman minuutin päässä The Arcadian. Mississippi-joki on 30 minuutin päässä, ja suurempia kaupunkeja, kuten La Crosse ja Madison, ovat helposti saatavilla valtion valtatiellä 14.

We loved the cabin! It was so relaxing to sit on the porch and enjoy the view. Jake and Becky made the stay very welcoming and responded to any questions that we had about the house. The location was perfect, being less than 10 minutes from shops and restaurants in Viroqua. Would definitely stay again!

The cabin was exactly as described, with photos that reflect the space. The property itself was beautiful and well cared for. Jake and Becky were very nice and responsive, though we didn’t have any issues during our stay. We enjoyed fishing, relaxing by the fire, making s’mores, exploring the grounds, making art, and browsing nearby shops. It was a great weekend!

Great base to enjoy nature, quiet surroundings, and easy access to the Viroqua vicinity. Barred Owls called multiple evenings and mornings. Great deck to hang out on with coffee and binoculars. Cabin was clean and cozy with all the cooking supplies one would need for meals. (also, good tasting water from the tap)

Everything was as advertised. There was even a pack and play for our 1 year old. Our kids ages 7 and 3 loved the little stream in the back and fishing for trout from the bridge. We caught four trout right under the bridge.

Great stay at Arcadian!

Beautiful cabin, location and stay at the Arcadian in the wonderful Driftless region! Enjoyed the quiet valley and nearby creek while having coffee and reading on the porch! Cabin was very clean and had all we needed for a relaxing stay! So many great things to do in the surrounding area, visting the Kickapoo Valley Reserve to hike and bike, Viroqua, wineries, and kayking on the Kickapoo River! Thanks for a great stay!

Great Setting

The cabin is very nice and located in a great setting with the creek out front and large side yard. Jake and Becky are great hosts who are focused on communication and hospitality. We left something behind and they gladly shipped it to us. We recommend.

Beautiful Driftless Escape

Beautiful cabin tucked into the rolling valley of the driftless region! The cabin looks just like the photos and was very comfortable. We saw a mama deer and her fawns playing in the morning!The hosts were very great communicators! Will be back!

Fishing paradise

Arcadian cabin is smack in the middle of Wisconsin’s Driftless Area, surrounding by incredible fly fishing in all directions, including a small trout stream right in front of the house. Jake and Becky were communicative and easy hosts. Would recommend.

This cabin was clean and comfortable. It’s situated in a peaceful little meadow, and is a great place to relax and watch wildlife. My husband and grandson had great success trout fishing in Bishop Branch Creek which runs right along the property. It’s very close to Viroqua which is a nice little town with restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay. We hope to return!

Great place to stay

We had a great time staying here for a spring fishing trip. The cabin is nice, clean, private and located in a great spot. If you're fishing, they even have a nice shed to store your stuff along with boot hangers. We had a nice time sitting on the porch after some long days as well as sitting by a fire one night. They even had all the firewood ready for us next to the firepit. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place.

Great Fishing Location

This was a beautiful cabin and a great location for fishing the Driftless. Cabin was spotless and comfortable. We’ve stayed in many different VRBOs the last 4 years in and around Viroqua and the Arcadian was by far our favorite.

Girls Weekend

This was such a cozy, clean, welcoming little cabin in a quiet valley only a 10-minute drive (at most) into Viroqua. Lovely big table for crafts, puzzles, knitting, games, or just sitting and chatting! Tons of natural light!!Word of caution that most of the extra beds are upstairs, so people sleeping upstairs should be comfortable climbing the ladder.I would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Jake and Becky, for sharing your slice of paradise with us and for being such welcoming hosts! Little cup of cocoa for the soul.

Winter Wonderland at the Arcadian

This was my second stay at the Arcadian. It was just as pleasant and relaxing as my first. Winter as opposed to late Spring, but the Arcadian was just as comfortable, conveniently and practically supplied and furnished with all the amenities an individual, couple or small family may need. Warm and cozy inside while it was cold and snowy outside.Winter adds a whole new perspective and beauty to the Driftless region. The Arcadian Cabin is situated in the perfect location to experience that beauty: a nice large clearing, surrounded by wooded hills and nestled alongside two small creeks.I'm hoping for more pleasant stays at the Arcadian in the future.

Fantastic Cabin In Viroqua

We loved our stay at The Arcadian. Perfect for nature lovers looking for outdoor activities, and also perfect for people who want to visit town nearby—at just 8 minutes away, it’s the best of both worlds. Nice cabin/location. Beware of ladder access to 2nd BR, No Trespassing signs on stream in photo

This is a great cabin for a related couple using only the main bedroom and not planning on cooking full meals. Access to the 2nd bedroom requires climbing an 8-foot ladder. Climbing up/down the ladder to access your belongings or using the bathroom is unsafe and frustrating. While there is a picture of the ladder in the property description, the ladder is not shown in the 2nd bedroom photos. There is a picture showing of the BR with the top of the ladder but it's not obvious this is the only access. We were looking for a cabin with "walk out the front door" flyfishing access. This property looked perfect with Bishop Branch several hundred feet away. Unf the photos in the description are inaccurate because they don't show the No Trespassing signs on both sides and hose strung across the stream. I sent an email describing these and other issues. VRBO limits reviews to 1500 characters so I'm only mentioning a few of the issues here. The host called me (I prefer email) to tell me we should have reached out about the condition of the cookware (nonstick pans shedding nonstick material) and they would have replaced. Since we were already cooking dinner that wouldn't have helped. We expected usable cookware in an Exceptional VRBO property. During the call with the host, I brought up the inaccurate stream and 2nd bedroom ladder photos. After15 frustrating minutes of back and forth I gave up, said goodbye and hung up. Nice property, nice people not a premium experience
