Its expansive scale and cool colour palette would be enough to evoke a sense of the majestic Thames flowing nearby, or perhaps the sweeping tranquility of neighbouring Battersea Park. But the architect didn't stop there, expertly shaping this home around lofty skylights and cavernous glass ceilings, allowing the light to flood in and illuminate these interiors in all their glory. You're greeted by a luxurious living room and study, where soft tones and elegant touches (vintage marble fireplace and spangled gold chandelier, anyone?) sit bathed in the light pouring through those splendid double doors on to the kitchen. There's also something uniquely charming about how a sprinkling of striking artwork throughout lends a little stylishness to the most humdrum tasks. Whether you're working from that elegantly kitted out study, or just blowing off steam in that lavishly equipped games room, it's amazing what a few captivating paintings will do.

No smoking or parties! Well-behaved dogs allowed on request. A dog is one of the family members who usually lives here. Though the dog will not be present during your stay, and the home is cleaned to a high Veeve standard, please note that the property may not be suitable for those with allergies. This home is set over four floors. The third bedroom sleeps three guests, with two single bunk beds with a single trundle bed underneath. Two of the bedrooms have air conditioning and the bathrooms boast underfloor heating. A TV and games room, plus a laundry room, can be found on the basement floor. A fifth double bedroom with ensuite and kitchenette is available on request. If not requested it may be booked by a tenant who has access from the exterior of the house and the internal doors are locked from each side for complete privacy. We will charge a £500 deposit for this property.
