Welcome to my home at the Beach! It's a cute 2 bedroom one bath with a private, enclosed back yard for bbq and sunshine. This summer the bathroom was totally remodeled and all the rooms got an upgrade. The house is the front house and i live in back house and use the driveway to access the back house. It's a great home to experience the wonderful town of Long Beach. The house is within walking distance of local greenbelts, lagoons and a 1 mile walk to the Beach! Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm are about 20 minutes away, and downtown Los Angeles is about 30 minutes away! Pets are welcome if you let me know ahead of time the type, size and number of pets with a small fee.

Lovely house in perfect location
This house is in a perfect location to explore or relax at the beach. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, street parking is available and wasn’t any issue. Kim is a great host and always helping out immediately while still giving you all the privacy you want. We loved the decor of the house that makes it super easy to feel at home. The kitchen was well equipped and the patio area with a nice BBQ is lovely for a family dinner. The washer/dryer works just fine. Thank you, Kim, for a wonderful vacation!

Nice quiet neighborhood location!
The house is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with easy access to restaurants and shopping. The fenced in back courtyard was nicely furnished and well lit. The beds were very comfortable! Communication with the owner was outstanding!

Disappointing
You will love this property if you are just needing a place to sleep and charge your devices and have no intention of cooking, doing laundry, or hanging out. However, if you are needing a place for more than sleeping and device charging, look elsewhere. This house has no oven, so cooking for my family was nearly impossible. It does have a small toaster oven on the counter, but no baking sheets and no hot pads. Save your quarters because you'll need to visit a laundromat to do laundry. An all-in-one washer and dryer is provided, but it's terrible and doesn't clean OR dry the clothes properly. When the wash/dry cycle was done, my clothes were still very wet and I had to hang them to dry and there is no way to just use the dryer feature. If you need to iron anything, good news is that there is an iron provided. But no ironing board, and since you can't use the dryer to un-wrinkle clothes, you should just drop off your dress clothes at the drycleaners the first day you're there. If you enjoy sleeping on concrete, you'll LOVE the beds. They are just as soft as a concrete pad and with only two extra pillows provided, you'll have to draw straws to see who gets to use them. If you intend on hanging out in the open-concept living room/dining room, think again. The L-shaped couch is not unlike the beds. May as well just sit outside on the curb - you'll find more seating out there. The shower curtain is about 6" too short so water drains onto the bathroom floor.

Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden. Leider war das Haus aber wirklich nicht sonderlich sauber- außer das Badezimmer, das war super sauber. Aber tatsächlich habe ich sofort nach der Ankunft erstmal geputzt… Was ich aber betonen möchte, ist die Kommunikation mit Kim- die war super! Egal was wir hatten- Kim hat immer sehr schnell geantwortet!

Positives and negatives
Positives: good size bathroom and kitchen both recently updated and clean. Outdoor back area looked great (weather did not permit our use) Bedrooms were good sizes. Negatives: Other rooms not clean..couch and dining chairs all stained, very dusty throughout…dust bunnies in both bedrooms, layer of dust on entertainment center, ceiling coated with dust so we didn’t want to use. Beds Very firm. There were other peoples dirty balled up clothes on floor stuffed between the ottoman and couch, and nail clippers on ottoman upon arrival. (Need better more thorough cleaning between guests) No oven in kitchen instead has counter top toaster oven (worked.. but not as well for family cooking). Was missing wash clothes and gave use hand towels instead.. Owner uses same access code for all guests, this seems unsafe. It appeared deadbolt lock in door frame had been previous broken. Washer and dyer is a single combo unit with one recommended cycle it can only handle small loads and is very loud. Owner was very responsive and lives behind the property. With improvements could be good for home base to do day trips to LA, beaches, sightseeing..

Great house-Perfect location-Great value
This cute house was even better than pictured! Well appointed, darling little back patio and nice quiet neighborhood. The owner was great to work with, and we would definitely rent this one again!

Amazing location with wonderful communication
This place was absolutely wonderful!! My bff and I had an amazing stay at this house. It felt safe which is pertinent when traveling as two females. The back patio was the perfect spot for early morning coffee or late night cocktails. The bedrooms were great sized and the beds were comfortable. The only two VERY minor complaints. The lighting wasn’t great to get ready and once we were ready, we couldn’t sit on the couch or else we’d be covered in dog hair. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Close to EVERYTHING
Beautifully decorated - equipped with everything you might need and more. Incredible outdoor patio, ready for a party, wonderful outdoor lighting. And close to Pavillions - we dined in with the most incredible selection of items ready to cook!Giant tv in the livin room and one perfect for the bedroom. The weather was warmer than we expected, but the fans and airconditioning kept us cool. So pleased we were able to get reservations at this time!

Great location Super cozy home
This home has a great location, close to everything and was super cozy with several homey details. The back patio area was beautiful and welcoming. The only downside is parking is pretty limited and we had to park about a block away one evening. Other than that, this place was perfect and Kim is a great host.
